This one’s been with me for about 3 weeks now, is used to bright sunlight on my window and water once the top 2 inches of the soil are dry.

Here are some questions:

  1. Does it look like it needs a bigger pot?

  2. Should I stick one of those fertilizer sticks in the soil?

  3. How do I prevent from the plant’s stems from drooping — they seem to be a little droopy than the time when I bought them. Any tips?

So pretty, nice job keeping it healthy so far, you’re doing great! It doesn’t look like it needs a bigger pot. If the leaves start wilting or the roots poke out the bottom then it’s time to upsize, but pothos need less space than they might seem by the leaves. I always advise against fertilizing pothos, I’ve never needed to, and it can be more harm than help. If the stems are droopy, and the leaves seem a tiny bit too from the pic, I think you might be watering it too often. Does it get more droopy before you water it or is it usually the same?

Just keep doing what you’re doing. They can be very drought tolerant so don’t over water. I water mine twice a month maybe. They grow in about any amount of light. They’re prob the easiest starter beginner plant. Get some fertilizer too.
