First you should turn it so it grows right side up
Genuine care tip, you should feel like you’re going to kill it by dehydration, that’s usually when jade is happy.

Forget about it for a few months. Notice that the leaves seem a bit droopy. Give it a lil’ drink. Repeat.

Ignore it. That is the secret to success.

Keep it somewhere sunny and water it less than you think. When the leaves have a little give in them, water from the bottom (ie stand it in a basin of water) for an hour or so, drain it and then ignore again. They like being outside in the summer so long as you introduce them to the direct sun gradually.

If any of the “leaves” fall off if you can propagate them in water or in soil. My family has had these for years, started with one but ended up with a bunch.
