When I came back they were all waterlogged and after getting rid or all the wet muddy soil, there are hardly any roots left.. most rotted away. Any advice? Should i propagate or try to repot in dry soil? Im kind of distressed Ive had these for 3 years. She apparently watered them to the top 5 days ago. I asked her not to water them while I was moving. 🙁

  1. I’d reintroduce them directly to soil. Moving to water temporarily might cause a massive shock, lots of dead leaves etc.

I’d put it in LOOSE soil, barely damp, don’t water it until it shows signs of thirst (leaves drooping/softening). Then water it very well, and get back to a normal routine.

Good luck! There’s still plenty of plant to salvage if things go sideways at any point
