I've had this pathos for a little over a year and it's stayed the same size since Ive gotten it. It's in a good area, there are two windows on each end of the room and so it gets plenty of light. I water it about once every 1½ weeks. I've repot it into this nice pot. But yet, it still so small. I'm not sure what the issue is so if anyone give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it 🙂

So this looks more like an n’joy than a marbled pothos. It’s possible you could be watering it too often. Pothos tend to like to dry out a bit before watering (1-2” of dry soil from the top). That said they also do well in high humidity. N’joys like bright indirect light so lighting hopefully isn’t the issue here. Does your pot have drainage holes and plenty of perlite in the soil?

How much bigger was this pot than the one before? It looks like it’s alot of space for that plant.

  3. I think it has diabetes 😔 that’s too much sweets for a pothos…
Jokes aside I think the soil is too wet and it would benefit a coarser and less water retaining mix

My n’joy pothos did literally nothing for like a year and half then started going crazy

I have a very nice pearls and jade that I got as a small plant last summer. It took about 4 months then it started growing like crazy. Now I have them growing all over. I even got a vine with jade leaves, which I separated. Hopefully yours will grow soon. Be careful with overwatering. It’s what kills most plants.

I also came here to tell you that’s not a marble. I also have an n’joy or something of that flavor and they’re very slow growers! I have several water babies and when they’re ready, they will all live together. Just to give them a boost

  8. No, it’s not a marble but that’s not the problem.

The issue here is that the pot is too large and so it’s doing what epipremnum do: growing mad roots and not putting any energy into new leaves or vines.

Not sure but my regular patho doesn’t grow at all from mid autumn to end of winter even though there’s light and I water it. I think bc it’s placed in the staircase and it gets cold there. It needs light, good temperature and some watering.

I’ve had one of these (whatever it is) and it’s always been weird. It has has weird shaped leaves that get smaller when I let it trail. I just assumed it’s a hybrid freak of nature that don’t grow so well. I have my mom’s heirloom marble queen and golden photos in the same space and those thrive even through neglect.
