This pothos was given to me October 2023- it only had one vine/strand. I love how long it has gotten and refuse to cut it. Recently this fall Its been getting even more stems – should I repot it soon? Fertilize it? I haven’t done anything with it but water it. Part of a stem broke that I regrew in a different pot (you can kinda see that one in the last pic), I kinda want to put it back into this one, I’m a bit afraid of breaking off the really long stem (yes I know I should cut it as it does take a lot of energy from the plant but it seems to be doing well)

I have more pothos than I want to count at the moment (I’m not trying to brag, I just have a lot of plants) and a lot of them have gone through stages of thick growth and prunes. They’re hands down the easiest plant to propagate in water. Actually, I add a pothos clipping to other plants I propagate in water because they naturally release rooting hormone. If you chop that long stem and cut it a few nodes down from where it starts getting full, stick it in some water. Wait awhile, let it root. You can repot it with the original plant this spring. Set her in a sunny window, water when it’s about 50% dry. You’ll have a full, happy, long pothos in no time.
Unfortunately this plant looks very sad for a 15 month old plant.
You definitely need to cut it. The leaves will not regrow. When you chop, the nodes push out a new vine and then you get new leaves.

For future comments: please refrain from suggesting to cut and propagate : this post is for potting/fertilizer suggestions.
That long strand is not doing well. It has almost no leaves

This pothos is 1.5 years, you should cut it back and try again. Water until fully wet, water again when it is fully dry for a day or 2
