My lawn has this moss growing on the soil under grass. I’m not sure if it’s a sign that the soil is staying damp too long. Thanks in advance. by Crematori lawn care 2 Comments fractal324 9 months ago I wonder too as I get it in early spring and usually goes away by summer. I get it in areas of grass that doesn’t get as much sunlight/heat because of the shadow cast by my fence. I pull out and remove anything slimey. I recommend waterproof gloves if you are going in with your hands/fingers MikeSelf 9 months ago Do you know what’s underneath? Some times I found shit like this, kinda cool to have that lime rock, but not that big at one place and near the surface, it https://preview.redd.it/gfounv4xehee1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4e217ed72dbbc74e5756bc53582ad612719c088 didn’t help at all.
