  1. Thanks for the rose trimming tutorial. Samantha has such a caring and sweet personality! Oh yeah..gotta contain that bamboo!! Nice of Aaron to donate his muscles 💪:)

  2. You’re so encouraging. I have learned so much and even planted by seed this past year it’s so fun. Thank you. Happy Belated Anniversary to you guys.

  3. The Bamboo Garden in Oregon is a great resource for bamboo information. I’m in 6A in Ohio and I have 2 cold hardy clumping bamboo… not spreaders. I’m not interested in those.

  4. Those darn Japanese beetles get our roses every year. Got those bag-a-bug bags, they attract them but still get my roses.

  5. I'll tell you for somebody who claims to have never changed a diaper, and not know how to be a mom before becoming one, you sure turned into a good one. Been with you since the townhouse. Love watching Samantha and Benjamin grow, along with all of your beautiful space❤❤❤.

  6. Hallelujah!!!! Your channel has been a big part of my transformation, God is good.I had a $47,000 loan from the bank for my son's(Oscar) brain surgery.i am now debt free after I invested $8,000 and got my payment of $30,500 each month. God bless mrs Elizabeth Marie Hawley

  7. I feel so much more confident when pruning my climbing roses because you taught me how, thank you! Samantha is just the cutest, she reminds me of my daughter 🥰

  8. QUESTION: I'm on vacation in Sydney Australia right now and it's about 11:21 pm here and I saw your video pop up. I'm enjoying your last update weekly video. What ideas do you have for a new lawn where I have the edge of my fence line to put flowers that are low maintenance & are perennials. Also a small, not messy tree that will not get huge roots to ruin my sprinkler lines?

  9. Such a satisfying job – I love plant cut backs and videos about it 😅 The elderberry next to the raised bed garden stresses me out every time I see it, feels sooo big for the area 🥹

  10. regarding the moving of the raised garden area and relocating it, have you thought about moving it to where versailles is currently ? it would be a beautiful way to formalise a kitchen garden.

  11. Russell looked so happy with that bamboo so close to his chair 😊 the look on his face was like thanks mom that's what I needed 🥰

  12. Laura, you might want to put a saucer under your pot of bamboo. I am still fighting a bamboo that found the hole at the bottom of our pot and spread just like mint does. Each time I think I got all the roots from the ground, I miss a piece and it comes back. Thanks a lot for telling us how to prune climbing roses, I needed such a video.

  13. Ooh, the bamboo is a stunner! May i suggest a saucer underneath the pot, though, because those roots may find their way down and grow into the gravel / landscape fabric pretty quick. It may then be more difficult to move the pot. Just a thought ❤ yes, compared to other years, you went easy on pruning the roses 😊

  14. Hi guys! Be very careful with bamboo. Here in Maryland Zone 7a(b) it is invasive. I have seen it take over yards and into neighbors yards, woods. If you thought the sumac was invasive… x 10! Also do not put the pot down directly on soil, the roots will make their way out the drain hole and take off.

  15. I would even put a big saucer under that bamboo. It's roots will find a way thru the hole below and into your gravel, weed cloth and soil before yu can even say Boo!

  16. I love how green the roses look at Garden Answer this time of year. I am in Minnesota, and our high temperature yesterday was -7° and today will be a high of 7°.🥶 The mercury is moving north, and by the weekend, we will in the 20's but today many schools are closed due to the dangerous cold temps. That bamboo tree is stunning! I didn't expect something so lush when you first mentioned to plant. It really does look spectacular behind the beautiful blue of the furniture.
