Is there anything I should do? Its leaves also are droopy and press against the window, but there is no discoloration? Should I just leave them, they keep trying to grow into the vent.
Um water it? Usually roots like to find water at some point

You can cut the roots it won’t bother the plant or tuck them back into the soil. The leaves are probably droopy because it is not receiving enough light though it is in front of the window the pressing against it means it wants more light.

It looks like it needs something to climb. The roots are reaching to grab onto something maybe?

There is no should or should not, what you do is entirely up to you.
