Hello friends. As title suggests, my beautiful money tree which I have had since April has grown to be quite large! It grew crazy fast in the summer, but has slowed down considerably now that it’s Winter (I live in Canada where we aren’t getting much sun right now!). I’d like to grow this thing [tall enough to be a nice floor plant ](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/6c9b82_02c9ab35029c45bb8c86eba09745ffd7~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_816,h_1243,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/6c9b82_02c9ab35029c45bb8c86eba09745ffd7~mv2.jpg)(instead of a table plant), and am thinking about continuing the braid now that the trunks seem to be longer. However, I have no idea how to go about pruning and braiding, and am terrified of hurting the little guy. Does anyone have any advice? Or links guides that have worked for you? Any and all help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Ignore the metal bowl. I got the plastic pot from the thrift store and couldn’t find a dish big enough to go underneath, so the bowl is there to catch drainage temporarily until I re-pot this bad boy.

Hi! I also live in Canada and have an unruly money tree that started small. I started braiding it when the stems looked long enough for me to do it! I use ties to hold the freshly braided parts together. Here’s a photo of mine today, helpful cat for scale lol.
It’s a little wild looking (the tree not the cat) but it kinda works! The pink arrow is how much was braided originally when I got it, at the time it was in the small white lacey pot just next to it in the photo.
