Post Bomb Cyclone — What will happen? How can I help?

Hi, all. I love in the beautiful PNW and am lucky to have a home among the trees and some forest land.

We had a terrible wind storm called a bomb cyclone in mid November. It ripped off several branches and felled many trees.

My question is what will happen to these trees with the broken off branches? Is there anyway I can help them? Additionally, what will happen to the forest floor with all the branches on the ground?
