This was regularly 189.00 at my Home Depot but they have a pallet for $48.00 so I bought a bag. I inherited a mixed centipede and Bermuda lawn but was planning on fully Bermuda the front after the winter. I was wondering if anyone in 8b has had luck with turf type tall fescue as I might give this a whirl instead.

Zone 8a here. I’m surprised Home Depot was still selling that seed from last fall. I would check the date in the bag because the seed does expire. I imagine it was pretty close if not already expired and it may not germinate. I did buy this seed last fall and didn’t have great results with it. Half of it didn’t germinate and the other half was extremely slow. I ended up spending the money on some Twin City Seed TTTF and it was night and day compared to this stuff. Are you planning on using it in the spring because the ground temp isn’t quite warm enough right now for proper germination?
