We had this wintergreen turf installed at our new house maybe 10 weeks ago and it had been thriving, however we cut it a level too short and then we had multiple 40°+ days in a row in WA. in the space of a week it’s done this and we’re worried it can’t come back. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions, we really don’t want to kill this grass 🥹
(First 2 pics are 1 day after I added an appropriate soil wetter, the second 2 are a few days after the heat started and the last few pics are just before cutting it last week)

JFC, water it? Looks dry as fuck and you said it’s been super hot. New sod needs a TON of water
Grass thirsty. Grass want water.
Water it very deep 3 times a day. Rather than short waterings more often. A really deep water before the sun rises, a mid length water before the hottest part of the day (like late morning), and a mid length water in late afternoon
Shampoo your lawn
Light water in sun could be killing it, heavier waters at dusk and dawn are where it’s at
You should be soaking new sod so when you walk on it it puddles every single piece. Should be done twice a day if temperature allows
