Any ideas how to temp fix my mud issue. Had a water line replaced. Wood chips or hay help at all ? Till warmer weather

    Try yelling at it and see if it leaves

    If that doesn’t work seed it and get shredded hay for cover

  2. Put in alternating stepping stones and then seed.

    Just walk on the stepping stones and it will give your grass a chance to mature.

    If that doesn’t work, did out a couple rain gardens to collect the excess water. (6x6x3).

    Few things might be problematic, first if your property/lawn is not well graded;sloped and water remains and makes puddles, it will stay muddy. Secondly, if your soil is clay, it doesn’t absorb/drain water well (very slow) and the top portion always remains wet and muddy. I’d have to see it to better advise you but if you can improve the grade/slope, then this would be step 1. Then using a good quality topsoil and seeding would fix your issues.
