wow.. who knew? lemonade is good any time of year to me; i love cooking with lemons, too… i've never heard the sound of popping jar lids, that's fun!! (not from a canning family)… what a great way to save your harvest… and the smiles on your face and Benjamin's face said it all… looks like a fun day even with the unexpected break of the jar… i bet your house smelled wonderful, too… ๐ฅฐโคthanks for the video!! ๐ฅฐโค
Thank you very much I enjoy your canning episodes I watched you and your mom do tomatoes. This helps me so much
Love that pop! Success! Love that Benjamin is learning about the process.
Love these winter videos !
Fun video. I love lemonade so this would be wonderful for my family. Great way to start my day. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day everyone.
Laura, please tell the limes they are pretty too!!! NOW!!
I would be making lemon cello if I had that many lemons. Simple syrup with zest of lemon add vodka. There is a wait time but oh so worth the wait.
Bahaha your reaction when tasting the lemon ๐. I'm telling you I laugh out loud my dog jumped…priceless .
Iโve made the strawberry lemonade concentrate over the summer. Itโs soooo good! I had to stop myself from mixing it up so I would have some for the winter!
Are you sending out comms for the British that America or its leaders are silly or foolish? Research.
Successful canningโฆfollowing through, no matter what! Great job โฆLaura ! ๐๐๐๐ป
Thanks for sharing your lemonade canning experience, I learned so much! You are such a capable woman, you encourage all of us!
This threw me off. I need lauras face on the thumb nail or else i have a mini heart attack thinking theres no video ๐
I have had the jars break like that before. I heard that jars have a 5 or 6 time limit, not sure if it's true.
As they say, โWhen you got Lemonsโโฆ.. ๐ ๐. I usually just freeze the juice in ice cubes trays, then bag the cubes for later use. And if you want to make a โconcentrateโ all you need to do is let the juice sit for an hour and it will naturally โseparateโ with the watery part rising to the top – same with orange juice. Just remove the watery part (use it for flavoring tea, etc.) and then pour the more solid part into the ice cubes trays. So much easier.
How fun! I just canned the same thing myself. Our Meyer Lemon tree was abundant this year. I also zested all the lemons before juicing them. Just adding a little bit of lemon zest to a blueberry muffin is incredible! Merry Christmas to you and your family.โค
So excited for this, and how it turns out! I am SO envious of your gorgeous lemons!! ๐ We use a ton of them, mainly in iced tea (Tennessean here). Have you ever tried holding the lemon and moving the microplane instead? I have arthritis and discovered thatโs a lot easier and faster, at least for me. I just hold the lemon underneath and run the plane back and forth like a sander. LOL
Have you ever thought of making Limoncello? I have it fun to make and makes wonderful lemon drops.
Beautiful!!
I can't wait to try this only I think I'll skip the number of the beast, satan and instead I'll do 777.โค๐
I enjoyed watching you can lemon concentrate!! Very interesting!! ๐
Thank you Laura!

Iโve had one break on me before it does happen but oh that lemonade looks so good
so nice to see the lemons transform into lemonade. I love the sound of the jars popping. I saw a gadget the other day where you put it on top of the jar and it seals it without needing the water bath.
Iโve canned for years with a hot water bath and pressure cooker and I ve never had one break like that. It was definitely a faulty jar. The jars look gorgeous
It would be a fun video to see you and your mom make the Arnold Palmer iced tea together.
Love your kitchen videos!
When is a lime really ripe? Itโs actually when they turn a yellow-green color! Green limes are not ripe but we are so accustomed to that color we all assume that they are!
Thank you for doing this. I have wanted a lemon tree but thought what would I do with all those lemons.
I also have really hard water, and have found if you add some vinegar to the water in the canner it helps with the hard water marks.

Iice maker probably needs to be defrosted!
How beautiful that lemon concentrate is in the jar especially in winter!
MY SON PASSED BY WHILE WATCHING YOUR VLOG THIS MORNING AND HE SAID โSHE LOOKS LIKE JENNIFER ANNISTONโฆ YOU BOTH ARE BEAUTIFULโฅ๏ธ๐ค๐๐ฅฐ
Intense watching and hoping you get to 6 cups! ๐
Disappointing when your jar breaks!๐ฎ
Volume UP when Benjamin is speaking! ๐
Fun video all around!

Fun, I want a lemon tree. ……..after the jar broke would the sweetened lemon juice do anything to the outside of the jars? what and why were you skimming the foam off the top before putting into jars? Merry Christmas.

That happened to me once with a quart jar of tomatoes from my garden. It's the worst. All that work just lost to the water bath… You have my sympathies.
Love the pops! ๐โค I have had jars break too๐ข โ Iโm so glad you showed the reality of canning! I reuse jars and always inspect them, but every once in a while, I must miss a chip or crack and then have to pay for it! I love your channel, your hard work and your sweet family! โค
Hoe about drying the limes and pink lemons for holiday decorating
How much lemonade will one of those jars make? Do you just add water to it when ready to use?
That's the most lemon zest that I have ever seen.
Top tip: I cut up into slices or wedges the lemons and limes I have extra then freeze them for drinks and cocktails. Theyโre useful for flavoring and keeping drinks cold too.
How wonderful.yo harvest your own lemons! Can't wait to see how your seedlings grow. The lemonade looks delicious! Enjoy with your family!๐๐
Will you slice and dry the limes too?
I would love to invent an automatic zester. Just pop the lemon, orange, grapefruit, etc. in the contraption and it zests the citrus fruit. I would call it the "Laura Edition Zester". Yesterday I zested my thumb, ๐
Looks delicious!
Russell thanks you for his chair back! I hope Douglas has one too!
(Asking so much)๐๐๐
