There are more than 2,000 species of native bees in Australia – some have yet to be formally named. There’s a lot we have to learn about them but what we do know is that, as well as being specialist pollinators of native plants, most bees will pollinate a wide range of other plants as well. That includes exotic plants, fruit trees and vegetables.  
 
Clarence plants out a pot of some nectar-rich Australian plants that will not only attract native bees but will attract other beneficial insects, from hoverflies to butterflies.
