Your new garden space will have such a different feel. Your other roof top gardens feel more cottage like. Your new one seems modern. How fun to play with different styles. 🎉❤
Your new deck is gorgeous. Evergreens in the corners would be beautiful. What about hostas for the lower planters, there are many varieties of mini hostas and nothing kills them. You could do lavender or lower growing catmint if the spot gets a ton of sun. Or even mini hydrangeas. The deck is definitely giving a formal vibe, so maybe all the same perennials instead a mix of different perrenials. Or mini evergreens in the lower planters, that can be shaped into balls or shaped into one big rectangle the same size as the planter. Whatever you do it will be beautiful.😊
Boxwood hedges shaped to your liking would look good there.
What about some perennial ornamental grasses? They would look nice with the modern vibe of the space and come in a great variety of heights and forms. Also, you can grow many from seed!
Are you kidding?, you shared those five years of knowledge with us and I have learned much for my own garden. Now don’t forget leave those planters alone until spring. Just keep saying that to yourself, over and over.😂😅
