Welcome to DESIGN SEED!
How would you design your home on a huge piece of land around 170,000 sq ft? When you have so much space, how much of it do you actually live in and use?
Inspired by classical Suzhou gardens, this extraordinary home is a microcosm of the natural world. Composed of a modern luxury private mansion and a separated personal entertainment annex called The Chalet, a flowing koi pond that surrounds the entire 170,000 premises that is a home to a total of 1000 koi fishes, surrounded by lushly curated landscaping.
My name is Alex Lee and I am from Design Seed. On today’s episode, we’re taking you on an exclusive tour of a home in China with stunning landscape design and modern architecture. Join us in our new series to showcase extraordinary homes globally, capturing good designs and sharing their stories.

Amazing koi pond and fish! Wow!
How these homes with huge ponds deal with mosquitoes or mosquitoes don't live in this area?
Well, it's good to be rich, huh?
Very beautiful, eloquent narration.
Landscaping was the best part of this home. The rolling hills, plants, and ponds were beautiful.
Meh… Somehow the outside is amazing, it's a fantastic space. But the inside of the house doesn't really resonate with me
"Healing its residents through its spaces" . You could not hv said it better Alex.
do visitors to his house get a map?
The blend of modern architecture with nature in this home is truly inspiring! I love how every space feels like a part of the landscape. The design really makes you appreciate the beauty around you. Great job showcasing this incredible project!
The black house is actually incredible-looking. It is better than the main in style, design and thoughtfulness.

A suggestion, instead of dubbing the guest, just put subtitles because then people that understand the native tongue won't miss any nuances that might get lost in translation.
Outside its really astonishing but inside kinda empty. Perhaps need more plants and reflect the balance inside and outaide 😊
Impressive video, Design Seed. Eager to see your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! The integration of nature with architectural elements is truly inspiring. How do you envision future projects evolving to further enhance this harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces?
This is utterly captivating. Kudos to the architect, the planners and builders for bringing so much life into this space
