I just wanted to share because he’s so cute! About 5” long and thinner than a pencil.
DON’T WORRY! I only put him in here for about 30 minutes so I could show my kiddo. He was released outside by my wood pile in the back yard where he belongs. Not in my mossarium or in my house.

  1. He obviously isn’t used to glass walls. He looks very pretty!

I used to find these outside all the time. I’d put them through the holes in my ears (I wore bigger tunnels) and let them wiggle through. Then off they’d go to their next snake adventure

Good thing you didn’t keep it. These do not make good pets. They regularly musk, so you have to completely clean the tank often.

I hate how I can’t join a plant or botanist focused subreddit without dealing with a bunch of animal posts. Why can’t you post this in r/snakelovers and leave normal people in peace?

I’ve been envying the r/CatDistributionSystem but I had no idea the snake distribution system was an option. Sign me up!

this sent me down a rabbit hole of me desperately trying to figure out what tiny species of snakes I’m allowed to own where I live and which ones do well in captivity. (no success, legal research is difficult, barely anybody owns tiny snakes it seems like)
