OMG I love that π I give out seed packets of Milkweed and candy. The kids give me a blank stare until they realize what it is and that they can help butterflies – then their eyes light up like Christmas came early! π₯°π¦ I also give away Milkweed seeds via my channel by the way. Stop by if you'd like a pack!
I saw one where they guy ran out of treats and giving out cans of soup and the kids were over the moon. I think that says something about the state of our economy and a child's appreciation of food.
Sun flower heads. I grew up in an area there was a local sunflower farmer who gave out heads of sunflowers for the seeds. He was always a favorite of the kids!
Fun fact…teen's trick was to stuff potatoes in tailpipes. Neighborhood grocery store would pull them from produce around Halloween.
Anywho, kids got cucumbers apples and oranges. I'm considering giving out canteloupes and baby watermelon, i had about 20 each ripen this week. Was too worried about someone having allergies to cherry tomatoes. Bananas are bad idea, they bruise and bust open.
i think them choosing so many potatoes is an indictment of how shitty modern mass produced candy is π the chocolate doesn't event contain chocolate anymore
