Just like visiting a good friend without having to get dressed, do your hair, put on your makeup , get in the car and drive there, perfect oh and leave a note for the family telling them where you have gone..
I loved that show. I have learned so much. I also got your coffee. So yummy.
It was a joy to watch you Jess to do your piddly jobs. đ«
Research Mead making. It uses honey instead of sugar.
I absolutely love the pumpkin/gourd mug!!
I have watched those shows done by historians. They are awesome.
Jess, your hair looks fantastic. Great cut for you.
I love those series, especially the wartime one! Ruth is so cool! I, too, have watched them several times each.
The fun thing about wine is that you can make wine from almost everything, except meat!
So, when you get to where you are daringly ready to explore. Try a wine mix of peach, pear and a bit of DILL. Yes! Dill, mmmmmm, best experiment ever.
Always a pleasure to watch your vidĂ©o!â€
For the series from the BBC on the farm life, so good! I watch them all!
Iâm a delicate flower too. Age 79 in Tucson! lol!â€Blessings!â€
I feel like im sitting at your table, and like im talking to a friend that I have known forever!
Was a fun time hanging out while you got through your to do lists đ
how is will?
You "squirrel" beautifully, Jess! 38* this morning. Brrrr
I made a delicious recipe the other day with roasted butternut, Brussels, and beets mixed with dried cranberries, pecans, and feta tossed with a balsamic reduction. It was soooooo good. You could easily add bacon or sausage to it.
I am loving your videos.. Living in East TN.. I learned from my grandmother's how to crochet and knit. I find it calming when I knit or Crochet since I am ADD and I have to be doing something with my hands.. and I understand rolling the yarn on your hands.. it is calming.. Thank you for sharing your life with us..
How coil! Tou found dinner on your driveway â€đ
Or do like I do just throw your scraps out the door or in the compost pileđ and stuff and it grows. That's how I had 30 peach trees one year. And they are still producing.
The shawl and yarn is beautiful. I love the yarn content.
Jess, where did you find your yarn bowl? Itâs beautiful. This video felt like relaxing with a friend, just hanging out while you work on your to do list. It was fun. I call those little tasks âpiddly thingsâ and feel very accomplished when I get some done without getting distracted. I value all your vlogs from the fun ones, like today, to the deeper ones that have a more sobering message. Thank you for inviting us to hang out with you.
What is the name of the Netflix show you spoke about? Different eras of farming.
48° f here in Western PA. Yes ma'am it's definitely chilly đ„¶
Jess, I just love you! You just body doubled me while I did some kitchen tasks too and made it so enjoyable!
I made turmeric ginger OJ shots
I got dinner started
Emtied the dishwasher
Filled it up from sink stuff
Filled up my baking soda jar with a new bag
And cleaned up a little
So much nicer with a friend! đ
My husbandâs aunt had a rosemary hedge in California. Iâm from Idaho and that freaked me out!!! Very cool! What is the name of the program you are watching?
New meaning to " take out food!"đ Love driveway dinners!
My mom was really into making wine. She and her sister drove to Tennessee to the Jack Daniels Distillery to get used oak barrels to age their wine in. She kept them on the built in back porch of which my bedroom was adjacent. When my friends would come over they always ribbed me about our smelling like a brewery! What I wouldnât give to go back to those carefree days.
Your dinner sounds so yummy
Tales from the Green Valley is a great 12 part series abt a 17th C farm in Wales. Modern Historians living, dressing, and eating in old ways they had only read about. Highly recommend on YT!
William is hatching plans for a wild romp with that yarn after you go to bed! đ Always happy to hang out in the kitchen with you Jess, and thanks for the heads up about the historic farms shows, didn't know they were on Amazon, now I can watch them again! âș
My 10 year old granddaughter keeps trying to teach me to crochet but my fine motor skills was one of the first things affected with my MS :/
