Not a question, but maybe a request? Whenever you have a plant or a tree that I like and I can plant (9B) I want to put it on my “plant wish list”. However sometimes it’s hard to understand or figure out what you’re saying. Could you just run a quick text along the bottom of the screen of the name of the plant/tree? I was trying to catch the name of the plum and heard “crowder Vesuvius plum”, but wasn’t sure I was right. Thank you!
If the roots extend outward, wouldn't it hit your waterline anyway?
I know this is off topic but oh how I envy your laundry room-it’s so big where mine is merely a closet lol. And I just wanted to say how much I love my new large kneeling pad 🙌🏻. I have the small one also which I use in my vegetable garden but the big one is so so nice for weeding flower beds, planting perennials and I can even sit on it and not get dirty! A really functional product! ☺️
Thanks for the reminder I had laundry to do too🤣👩🏼🌾
Uhm… did you know you can reverse the hinges on your washer and dryer so the doors open the other way? It would save you having to reach around open doors. It's super simple to do.
Trees 🌳 🌲 🌴 🌳 🌲 and 🥔 🥔 🥔 🥔 doesn't get much better than that!!!😊😊😊❤❤❤
I truly enjoyed every element of this video. From planting all the different varieties of trees, and their placements. Benjamin's rock collection you discovered in the dryer. Keeping it real, down to yes we're busy, but there's laundry to do,meals that needs to be prepared, so ham n beans in the crockpot, with cornbread for dinner. A filling and delicious meal after a hard busy day of work, and temps are cooler so it's so satisfying. Then harvesting all the potatoes, an as you were showing the size of potatoes, how many, the variety they are,how pest help themselves to a few,but you aren't all up in the air about it,because it's nature, it's food and critters get hungry to. As you were talking my eyes were drawn to the cut flower garden, still full of color. I loved all the trees, and the color of the huge plum, the foliage color with the berries, I want one. Will be on the hunt. I already planted a crabapple this spring because I love yours. Mine is small but has berries hanging on. Aaron's smile on each tree planted touched my heart. His placement of the Birch trees close together is going to be so pretty in that spot. Can't wait to see them next year. They will have put on some growth, and we will see the look he is after. Then the pasture green with horses grazing, yes there will be awesome photos taken when the sun is coming up and rays of light scattered thru the branches of the Birch trees, any time of the year, the white fencing, green pasture with horses grazing. Maybe next year? Laura mentioned at times,it would be some years out. But I think she's ready.
I hated emptying my little brothers pockets on wash day. Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails? We more often than not found worms, dead mice , grasshoppers, rocks, and various other insects. So gross.
I love little peeks into your house chores and such. Laura, your makeup always looks so pretty. Would you mind sharing some of your favorite products? 💄
Birch trees are one of my favorites! Absolutely love the birch Grove! Blessings from Iowa!
My grandon used to bring me a small rock every tome I picked him up from preschool. How i wished I would have saved them to put in my memory garden!
Love the leaf on Laura’s hair and Benjamin’s rock collection.
I’m very proud that you both are planting trees. Trees are oxygen. THANK YOU Greetings from Switzerland
Benjamin’s “Myah!” was pure Laura!
Love all the trees! The rocks 😂. At 5 minutes, I couldn't help but notice your beautiful washer/dryer. Question-I know you like to make things easier, do you know you can change which way your doors open on the machines?
A big boulder would be nice near the 5 birch tree grove.
At 15:42, do you cut the wire of the basket but leave it in place when planting the tree? I planted 2 trees 2 years ago and did not remove the basket, now I am worried if I should did around them and cut the wires.
Be glad it was rocks my son would leave pellets or BBs in his pockets.Along with hot wheels cars acorns rocks too oh my gosh I can’t remember everything he left in there. No snakes frogs turtles thank goodness. Even now when I’m digging around the property we find toys army men from long ago battles, hot wheels a toy hammer one time from 20 years ago it’s like a treasure for my heart. I have them all saved and put up ❤Boys.
Wow the tree placements are amazing it’s going to look spot on so cool how you know just where each tree is planted so exciting. Yummy look at those potatoes 🥔
Is Benjamin homeschooled?
I'm surprised you could not tell by the weight of Ben's jeans that there were rocks in the pockets. 🤔
❤❤❤. All those trees, pockets full of rocks and beautiful potatoes! What’s not to love?! Thanks for sharing it all! ❤❤❤
Oh those trees look good planted. They'll really take off once they settle! Exciting to see the landscape taking shape.
Is that a fruiting plum tree?
All the trees are beautiful! Do you ever deal with bagworms on your evergreens?
LOL I have the same Stay n Go crock pot! I think my knob is different though. I don’t use it often as I purchased an instant pot a few years ago and seems I use that all the time.
Boy wish I had some of your equipment for my garden but mine is about as big as a handkerchief. 😂 I’m also near the seaside and have a horrible clay and sand dirt.
Great job guys!
Is your "planetree" what we call a sycamore here in Missouri? After some research I think it is, and just to let you know I have several in my gardens and love them. They can drop their branches often, but the little seed balls are no problem. I also love the bark and how it peels in the spring. They are beautiful and I find peace there, so much so we buried Milo our dog under our largest one. I am sure you will like it also.
I love to watch that big auger come up full of dirt & then Aaron fluffs it out outside the hole.
