Hi Everyone! Removing this tree for some reason was difficult for me. I’m not sure why. Now that it’s gone, I can see how planting a healthy tree will add so much to our garden. Starting tomorrow, Belmont Nursery in Fresno, will be having a sale. Even though we’re not ready to plant, we’ll be purchasing a red Japanese Maple tree since they will be on sale. Oh, I know what you mean about cutting a tree down, it just kills me! We had a clump River Birch tree in our front yard and the roots were starting to lift our sidewalk up, so my husband said we had to cut it down, I just felt so sad! One good thing about it, I had my husband leave about 4 ft. of the stumps and I put a big flower pot in the middle of the stumps and planted supertunias in it, it was beautiful!!! I had so many compliments on it. But I feel your pain!
