On today’s 2 minute garden tip, I explain how to prune evergreen fruit trees for small size and maximum production. It’s easy to know when to prune a deciduous fruit tree: simply wait until they are in winter dormancy. Evergreen fruit trees do not go dormant, so there is some confusion about when to prune them and how to do it. This video will explain how to prune trees that do not go dormant clearly and easily.

Thank you for the tips on the evergreens. Could i grow avocado in zone 8a in georgia?
Great tips as always. Thank you.
Ahh what a lovely problem to have, an avocado that just keeps producing 🥑
Gonna have to change the channel to 5 minutes or more garden tips lol. Also my favorite pruning saw is a folding curved one with the teeth pointing inward like a shark. It's very easy to use with one hand.
No comments this year on your Lila fruit production or taste?
