Hey everyone, new poster in this sub.

I was hoping I could get some advice on taking this apart, and where I should start first? I already removed the plastic cover, my fear is that I’ll remove the wrong things first and it will collapse on the weight of itself. If anybody has an idea on organizing (maybe labeling?) all of this until I can assemble it next summer

In-laws are moving and I asked for the greenhouse, they obliged. I thought about re-using the plastic but it’s kinda beat up. Can anybody tell me where to find more of this material?

    Label everything. TAKE PHOTOS!!!!

We disassembled a 30x48ft and labeling EVERYTHING helped.

My son, who labeled them, had no idea what a purlin was but labeled them in a manner he understood.

We took the top off first, then the walls.

    Good luck

Take pictures and label parts. Id remove the wood at the base first then the track the wiggle wire went into. Then take the end wall’s apart. Next i would take the truss’s that go across the arches down. Then the purling that goes down the middle of the arches. And last take the hoops down.

Greenhouse Megastore has been my place for 5 year plastics.

When they disassemble a vintage car for restoration, they usually label each piece as to where it was in the finished product. Then they photograph each piece for a visual reference (cross-referenced with the labels. It seems like a pain in the keester, but, it saves days-worth of time during reassembly.
