  1. l can’t even relate! l struggle to afford to buy one or two new plants a season! This is like watching lifestyles of the rich and famous.

  2. (IF only) we didn't have SO many deer feasting on our plantings. This morning I woke up to SIX deer in our front Island. The ONLY thing they will not eat are the lantana and a planter of cactus. They even come on my front porch and deck to have their breakfast & dinner. And yes….we spray the smelly deer repellant every other evening and have even placed the deer repellant pods. Please consider filming a video EXCLUSIVELY with deer repellant plants. LOVE…LOVE…LOVE your gardens and your channel! 🦌🍁🌾🌵Only wish the deer would stay away long enough for my plants to GROW!

  3. Since you are moving the plants again soon, why not just leave them on the 3 tier pallet. You can water them on there. Looks like the pallets would fit in the high tunnel.

  4. I have really hard clay soil, I have been trying to fix the soil in my yard. But every time I plant anything, the plants look like they are dying for about the first 3 weeks. I do used bio tone starter in each hole, and i water them really good. Anything else i can do for them?

  5. Just so many beautiful plants Laura can't wait to see them when your new pond area is done. Its exciting time. And oh my the hibiscus is just so beautiful.

  6. Laura, there is a new perennial grass for our zone called Blackhawks Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) . It is that dark purple that we all want. I haven’t been able to get my hands on it yet but hope to next Spring. I saw it in the gardens on Mackinac Island a couple weeks ago.🥰

  7. Great load of plants. Wow. Love Love Hibiscus gorgeous to bad it’s an annual for us because I’d have them all over. They look so sad but they will pick up fast. Thanks again for sharing this with us.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  8. My appreciation for Hibiscus is also growing. I added a few Berry Awesome plants to my yard this year. I have a question about augers and drills. Can you do a video on how you put on and take off the different augers? It looks like you are using a tool, but I can’t tell what it is. Secondly, can you go over what drill power is needed for the different sized augers? Thank you for all you do!

  9. I love hibiscus … glad you kept it. Easy maintenance 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

  10. Love all the grasses. I have Karl Forrester Feather Rees grass which is a cool weather grass. I shy away from warm weather grasses as they appear dead until May when it’s warmer. Who ch are these??

  11. The last couple times I've watched your videos they've been a little on the dark side but other than that the videos have been excellent

  12. These plants will bring color to the area. I am so looking forward to seeing the Dream Stream going in. You have so great plants to go in around it. Have a blessed day everyone.

  13. Hi from Connecticut! So glad you did this video about Hibiscus. I planted a rose mallow for a low wet spot in my yard and it was mutilated by Japanese Beatles. The leaves looked like lace by the time they were done. Do you get Japanese Beatles and what do you do about them?

  14. I usually love watching GA videos, but this morning it's really hard. My husband can't find work and and we are about to lose everything we have and be homeless. Maybe I can come back to it later and be happy about the exciting things happening to other people 😭.

  15. My phlox start out great every spring. Then chlorosis & powdery mildew set in & they fry. I amend several times a year. Still happens. I'm over phlox at this point.

  16. I love the blooms on the hibiscus but I wouldn't say they're low maintenance. When I had them they wanted watered all the time and were always droopy. I finally dug them out and gave them away.

  17. Laura: "We're not going to go heavy with the perrenials out here AT ALL!". Didn't we hear that about the South Garden 4 years ago…😂

  18. I am so glad that you gave hibiscus another chance. I have them in my yard, here in Indiana. They are so beautiful and low maintenance. I am thinking of replacing my roses with them. Because the roses are high maintenance.

  19. Love!!! Love your channel!!! You and your mom are so sweet. I bought 2 attic fire dogwood shrubs. I want to plant it near an elm tree, but when I started to dig I keep hitting roots from the tree. Can I still plant them there or will the roots interfere with the dogwood? Need to plant them soon. Please let me know
