We met another YouTuber today. The lovely Trist..link further down so give them a sub. The next morning we woke up to more ridiculously good and hot weather and went around Threave Gardens in search for bats but ended up coming out with turnips and apples to feed some goats.

Mazzy should be careful putting a seat belt on when she's wearing a waxed jacket – wax will rub off onto the seat belt, then transfer back to other clothes she wears in the future – an expensive mistake I've made before!

Hi Both. Great visit around the garden especially the veg garden. Just replanted more spinach and carrots in a raised bed. Only 2 veg that have grown well this year. Theyโve done better in Scotland ๐ฎ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ That huge plant you stood next to is Gunnera..think itโs a member of rhubarb family. Continue having a lovely time! You should get a fishing pole and hook your GoPro to it so you can put it in the deeper parts.
A fishing pole that your GoPro is attached to will work in the deeper parts
Dumbs I thoughts my vision was going there for. Mo hehe. Seems ok again. Think all the walking you have been doing tired you out,hehe. Crumbs that time has flown by 5days. I havenโt had corn beef for ages. I guess itโs out of season , so they can get around these places easier without visitors. Bless you mazzy you really get so excited. Think the pond was maybe a bit to polluted for fish. The place you visited todsy was very well kept, a real credit. Are you asthmatic mazzy ?. Omg!! we did this day out too. How gorgeous is it!! We could not do the house because we had the dog with us and it was not dog friendly. But the Gardens were beautiful and we finished it with lunch at the cafe. A great day out.

Mazzy and Dan the fairy pools on Skye are stunning and most definitely worth a visit. However have a google before you go as this year more campers and motorhomes (and cars) have descended on Skye than ever before and people have been stuck for 8 or 9 hours on the road to the pools. Early morning out of season is the best time (take your wellies). It is stunning! We were lucky enough to see it a few years ago when it was almost empty on a beautiful crisp morning. Bliss like this. Hell if busy. โค

There's a really good site at Kirkcudbright called Silvercraigs. Looks down over the town. Try the Iron Brew at Gatehouse. Good beach park up at Craigenarget between Glenluce and Port William, great cafe at the view Port William. If you head up to Port Patrick you can park up in the carpark at the lighthouse. Good eateries and pubs there too.

Sounds a bargain park up
The 'flowery' part of the garden was nice but I really enjoyed the kitchen garden. So many different fruit and veg being grown. Can see why most Victorian manor houses had them.
