I would love to designate a bed for a type of plant. However, I feel it reduces pests when I mix the plants. However, then when you talk about crop rotation that makes it hard. I am just starting out so I really don't have a set way of doing things just yet.

Iāve got a bunch of seedlings already growing. Iām planting my tomatoes out the last week of September. They are around twelve inches tall now and by then they will be bigger. Iāve already planted out some of my winter squash and will finish them by the last week of September. They grow quick. Iām waiting on my butter peas to plump up. Iāve been adding chicken manure and compost to my beds as I get ready to plant them. I love this time of year. Itās our spring compared to the rest of the country. I canāt plant out lettuce for quite awhile yet. Weāre in the nineties still every day and in the eighties at night. How long do Puerto Rican black beans take before they start dying off? They are taking up a lot of room in my garden.
I'm a pencil person. With a big eraser lol

This is the best gardening video for me. Iām in Cape Coral and can never get the timing right. Iāve already started my seeds for tomatoes, broccoli, and lettuces indoors and my pepper seeds, Chinese broccoli outside in the Greenstalk. I may have started too early. At least thanks to this video I know and can adjust in a couple weeks. Best video ever! Thank you!!!
