- It was looking really nice and firm until yesterday when it started to deflate just slightly and today it looks like this
- Last watering was about 10 days ago and was due to be the last until spring
- The soil mix is at least 80% inorganic and less than 20% organic
- Gets lots of sun together with my other succulents, including Pleiospilos nelii, which is going strong

Is it mushy? Check for the strm near the roots. If it’s mushy then most likely it’s rotting
check roots. there’s a chance that if the soul media is thos size all the way thru, the roots had nothing to grow and grip onto. Grit needs to be multiple sizes bit there def has to be small grit like sharp sand and crushed granite etc for the roots to be able to correctly grow, stabilize the plant and uptake water
