  1. Most commonly grown figs are self fertile and do not need a wasp to pollinate them. Wasps do still love over ripe fruit tho.

  2. I'm in Florida. Planted Seminole pumpkin. Slugs ate most of the leaves. I've tried the beer trick, the yeast, and the sugar trick . Caught 2, that's it. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of those devils?? I can't use chemicals because my garden is right next to my well. They certainly love the mulch.

  3. Your friend is cool and thanks for sharing him. I'm planting pink Okra for fall here in DFW. Hopeful for fall tomatoes as well. Lady peas maybe coming soon I pray. I'm recently retired so trying a first fall garden here. Any feedback is welcome!

  4. The Seychelles pole bean is AMAZING. This was my second season growing them & now I never want to go back to bush beans. They've been prolific, so much easier to harvest & nothing like a traditional pole bean.

  5. 'Seychelles' have been my favorite beans to grow for years. But I actually didn't plant any at first this year. Instead, I planted the 'Purple Podded' variety based on the suggestion of several reputable sources. But I missed my 'Seychelles' so much I had to find a place to sneak in a later planting for us to enjoy going into the fall.

  6. I love these casual videos, but I have to say I am going to miss Tobias’s little boy voice as he grows. It’s the most precious gravely voice.

  7. I love your sign language addition to the foundation! My husband and I are currently trying to learn this beautiful language because his hearing has become so bad, he's almost deaf. We thought this would be very helpful. That's going to be an awesome shop!

  8. I'm turning into the grandma — I went to an outdoor event on Saturday with a couple hundred people and I was going thru the crowd offering people cherry tomatoes 😅

  9. I so love coming to visit with you all 🥰 what a beautiful video and how awesome you're turning Miah's Shop "waiting room" into a basketball court 😂🤣😘
