I picked up the pot with one hand and dropped it, and one part with two leaves snapped off. Can I just try propping it in water as is? Any suggestions are appreciated!

You can probably just glue it back together.

O think as long as it has a node, it wouldn’t hurt to try propping the rest of the plant. It should be fine, I think, as it has all the roots to support it

Yes you absolutely can propagate this little guy. I broke my long begonia about 6 months ago, and I managed to get a number of cuttings out of it that are now new begonia plants. I’ve currently got one prop just living his life out now in a brown bottle with water in front of a window and he seems just fine too. You can propagate this cutting easily in water, and in my experience, begonia cuttings are hearty and eager to grow. Congratulations, your begonias have multiplied!
