  1. Garden looks great. You cant eat a picture and many of my roughest looking gardens produced the best! The first few years of gardening in any newly plowed/planted ground are normally the weakest as you amend the soil it will just get better! I am right where you 2 were. About to turn 48, making money i never dreamed i would make and ready to burn it all down, sell this crap and move back to the middle of nowhere like i was raised. We just got back to Fl from our first trip to Maine looking at areas/properties and are planning our next trip already in a month or so.
We are back and forth on the video/yt thing as well and currently just decided we arent messing with it. That may change as we move along. Till then ive always enjoied watching other families/couples homesteading channels. Jeff and Rose out in BC are one of my all time favorites! Ill assume your talking about Gridlessness from your description! Those two and their girls (young ladies) along with "Hot Dave" and his wife/kids are so fun to watch and I admire the fact they did it when the girls were young and raised them that way!
Anyway im rambling, Thanks for your video as its helpful to those of us in a similar situation! Cant wait to see whats next for you 2!
PS if you havent seen Cabin River Outdoors check him out. He is building a cabin WAAAAY out there with like a 5km walk in or 7km boat ride to his 40acres but does a great job documenting!
