  1. They make those one level fountains, that shoot up water from the base. That way you get moving water, without it having to drip from layers above. You can place the statue in the center, up and out of the water. And with lights of course. Thank you 🤗⛲️

  2. I have a boxwood question: With all the new boxwoods you are planting here and in the south garden, what are your plans in regards to protecting them from spider mite damage? I just kept thinking about the Sprinters in the circle garden. These are another new kind so I wonder if they are going to hold up against the onslaught of mites!

Your vision for your space continues to amaze me, Laura. That look is just perfect for that area and the fountain in the south garden is just 'chef's kiss' perfect.

  3. Aaron & Laura, the property as a whole is coming along spectacularly!!!
Cannot wait for the dream stream to be added! That will be the 🍒 cherry 🍒 on top!!!❤❤❤

  4. Sundials aren’t completely accurate all year long, they are most accurate near the solstice. I would set it with a compass and not the shadow. It’s so beautiful! ❤

  5. interesting how bobcat set up tilling so have to drive backwards
and not allowing land plane to be dragged behind either. Hope their engineers get turned around on design.
Tipnotes on a John Deere website wrote a land plane is "useful for maintaining a gravel road or driveway, smoothing a horse arena, leveling a garden". Usually want fluffy sand for a horse arena and see people drag with utv. Regardless that orchard grass is going to look fantastic. Nice plant delivery location too.

(sundial is neat idea and like dry look of gravel around lavender, creates a cute pathway near Hartley….hints to slowing down….half your speed …take a break 🏀🎾🍦😎)

  6. I love the sundial! I was saying no no no in my head. Don’t put anything in that space! But oh my it is perfect. It looks like it has always been there.

  7. The sundial and plants are just perfect for that space! Looks like they’ve always been a part of that area! Well done Laura! Aaron, your tenacity to get the job done is impressive! I can’t imagine how long it would have taken using the small rake that you started with! 😂

  8. So fun to see you integrating statues into the landscapes! I would imagine that the children would enjoy choosing and seeing some whimsical statues for them to enjoy viewing on their walks. Childlike figurines for children's enjoyment and not just adult items? Did you think about doing a string circle from the pin? Stunning idea for the statue placement with the Hartley! Laura, you can rotate the statue for the correct position.

  9. Good morning from Kentucky! Oh my goodness! You couldn't have pick a more beautiful and scaled piece! And the plants WOW! Perfect! So formal! 🪷💕🌸🪴🥀

  10. Laura, I love the sundial! It’s perfect with the plants!!! Aaron loved how you explained everything! A lot of work! It’s going to be beautiful!

  11. Laura, the addition of the sundial statue and plants to the Hartley parterre garden looks absolutely beautiful!! It’s as if it’s always been there! One question: Have you considered painting or staining the benches in this area black? It would be a beautiful contrast to the gravel, cement planters, and the Hartley’s brick and white trim. Black benches would also echo the black iron planters on the Hartley’s other entrance and complement the formality of that gorgeous space! Love, love your videos!!

  12. 16:50 did that come with the statue? I wonder if the yellow tint was added because the statue is more toward a warm/green tone than the cooler gray statues and planters you normally have?

  13. Custom made low fountain with the same bricks of Hartley and just one spout in the middle would be great in the Center

  14. Laura, I don't see you amending your soil or topping off with a good compost when you plant anymore. Any reason why? I know you use biotone but was curious.

  15. Thank you for sharing. Y'alls property, garden, and play area for the kids is awesome. I can't wait to see the grass come in, and the lavender & boxwoods enhance.

  16. L.O.V.E. the sundial! I’m so excited to see the “back 40” taking shape. The drone views were great! All this is so exciting!❤❤❤

  17. Ohhh Laura she is perfect for that space❤❤❤❤❤and I loved having Aaron explain the grass process. So much work and I can’t wait to see the results.

  18. Wow! Love how the sundial looks! And it feels right! Like an old English garden, that is perfect for the heartily! I'm sure Aaron's grass will be just as beautiful as the pathways in the flower garden, he puts so much attention and work into it!😊 working together, having the right people to help is bring your vision alive! ❤Beautiful!

  19. When I want more height for a statue I put the item on some landscape material to give extra balance and height.

  20. Not being persnickety but I think for an eye grabber to the statue. I would have done something in bold white flowers in place of the lavender, so it didn't get lost amongst all that color. that's just me though..lol

  21. I stumbled across an incredible garden the channel is rose geek and if you go back a year to Yvonne garden wow you will not be disappointed

  22. I love this little space this !! The sundial seems so perfect in front of the Hartley !! And if course your choice of plantings is so awesome !!❤

  23. Laura, I love the new addition to the garden. The sun dial is a game changer. It's a conversation piece. Aaron, thank you for all the information on the seeding. Giving the pros and cons is a time saver for everyone. ❤❤
