There is food absolutely everywhere if you just know where to look.

Join me, Morag Gamble, to discover four edibles hidden in plain sight as I explore the lovely little community kitchen garden at the Australian National University (ANU). Did you know that many parts of food plants are edible, are often overlooked? These hidden gems are not only nutritious but can also increase how much abundance you have in the garden, save money and extend your harvest – simply by changing what you see as edible!

Watch as I share tips on how to identify, harvest, and prepare these unique foods. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this video will inspire you to see the potential in every corner of your garden.

Grow local. Eat local. Join a local garden group. Share locally.

  1. Interesting video, Morag… I'd never seen chick weed used for did before.

Quick question, though, about your "scape" comment… I was always taught that the "scape" of the onion or garlic was the specific shit on which the flower head was forming/growing… Is that not actually the case? (It looked very much to me like you were munching on what could have been any other shoot… I didn't see any flower forming at it's tip).

    I'm so confused right now.
