  1. I use a small spray bottle with isopropyl dont have to drag a rag or papertowels around… then use a liquid sealer on my cuts.

  2. I couldn’t make the live chat but just finished and thank you MrMaple for the awesome content🔥. Greatly appreciated👌🏻. Thank you MrMaple for all you🔥. #JapaneseMaples #MapleMafia❤️🍁🔥! I also listened to the podcast about pruning while I planted my 6 gallon Purple Curl from Buchholz Nursery last night❤️🍁🔥!

  3. I just watched the last one of these last night. I need to get this going. It’s scary to cut em.
    Thanks for the info!

  4. At what point should trees in pots get repotted? I have some small guys (1 gallon, 3 gallon) that will need larger pots sometime.

  5. The honesty of experience just drips off of you two, I so enjoy y’all’s instructional videos, I feel smarter after watching, again my friends I thank you for everything. Customer for life

  6. I take it that using loppers are a no no…I've used them on 2 inch branches instead of a saw, using a saw can be a bit tricky and a bit more patience. I understand pruning in early spring may be best. I never really started pruning until last year and I really went to town on my orangeola, garnet, tamukeyamas and viridis in the summer and thought when done I over did it…they have been in the ground for 15-18 years. This spring they look great, I think they were suffocating thinking they need airflow. Getting underneath then wasn't fun in the hot summer and I know not ideal time but they look great and now you can see some branch architecture and a lovely flare…For me hiding the flare and not showing some beautiful branch structure is not doing the tree justice but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. I have to say for me pruning is fun and the art or craft of enjoying these beautiful trees and glad I finally started pruning after 19 years of doing nothing but watering. Trim out what doesn't get light…BEAUTIFUL…glad I listened to the podcast just to hear that.

  7. Do you sell wound salve for newly pruned maple branches? I see to have reticulum wilt and have sawn off several branches about 1 inches across or less.
