Also, I know you have great garden resources. I've been so disappointed in big box and honestly nurseries in my area. I live near ATL. I'm ordering plants for fall planting. Any insights? Are suppliers diminishing? I'd love your insight.
Is Chad the same guy who does this same work in Nebraska? Yes please show your seeding process!! You should go to a thrift store and get Benjamin his own "butter knives" that he doesn't have to worry about. 🚜⛲🍴🌱🌳🌿🌺🌻🌼🌸🚜🍴
When you drove to McCall, you drove by our house. Fruitvale, north of Council. I want to get Black Lace Elderberry, they should grow here? We live below the tree line. I found your channel a few months ago. I enjoy it so much
next time you pass a salvation army or goodwill, go in and get benjamin 6 cheapo butter knives. he'll have his own toys and you won't have to worry about losing or ruining your good set
The 'personal shopper' Aaron spoke of is similar to something that was common, back in the days of actual dress shops. Local shops employed salespersons who were very helpful finding the 'right' dress for your figure, and event. (Most) people aren't as concerned these days with a classic and well-styled look, more of the current trend. And not flattering to their figure. It's rare these days to find an actual 'dress shop', let alone a specialized undergarment( 'foundations' ) store. Knowledgeable salespeople have gone the way of the horse&buggy….the styles of dressing have just changed! ( from a professional seamstress of 60+ yrs.)
I had to laugh out loud when the comment came up about “Sod or Turf”. Good answer Laura!! The reason why I started watching you many years ago was because you spoke proper english. Love your channel thank you for the inspiration ❤
I cannot believe how much I feel my day isn't complete unless I tune into Garden Answer. Your videos are a magnet, once you start, you can't stop! Love you guys!! I absolutely love the raport and communication you both have with each other. A match made in heaven for sure! YES< YES< to Aaron on lawn tips!! I totally agree with ripping out daylilies, I am so over mine. In my eyes this summer, they just get to scraggy. The browning leaves, the spent pods, I'm done with them. I am so with you Laura, on wearing dresses, getting "dressed up". At my age (71), I like being comfortable. And yes, I too avoid dressy affairs. Take me as I am, or don't take me at all, is my motto…lol.
You seemed to like several plants from the Chicago trip. If you could magically transform a plant(s) to thrive in your zone, what/which would you pick? (I would pick columbine, fuchsia, and iris for my central Florida garden.)
I agree quick fire fab is amazing. I have three of them. But my firelight hydrangeas out perform them and out color them. And I found a new release this year called pinky winky prime that is blowing my mind. I think it’s going to be my new favorite. I have a few videos on my channel where you can see all of them. No reason to subscribe or anything. I’m just using it for documentation. But my entire garden is inspired by what I see on garden answer.
I sit at a desk all day for work, so pants are uncomfortable for me….my uniform are sun dresses, flip flops and in winter months, a sweater 😄. But I’m in Southern California, so more temperate weather.
Laura. You are you. There are beautiful pant suits out there. So you be comfortable on what you wear. You are a spicey individual this is a compliment..❤❤😊
Do you ever get army worms in the grass areas? We just had a pretty bad infestation in Wake County, NC and a lot of folks had to resod/reseed lawns that were effected. Love your videos. I began watching when you were in your first year. You've come a long way baby!🎉😊
Iron question! If you have a hydrangea that is iron deficient, will it hurt the plant to leave it untreated? I have a bush that no one sees, which will lose all its leaves this winter. This is the first year I have noticed this issue. Just wondering if I should go to the expense of treating it.
OK, so I had to pause the video to add this comment … normally I’m Team Aaron on pretty much everything but when it comes down to dresses and fashion tips I’m shaking my head and thinking, sweetie, please hush now, don’t say another word … be quiet, stay in your lane … you’re treading mighty close to the edge … From my experience, hubbies aren’t always best suited to giving their wives cutting edge fashion advise, and wives generally aren’t appreciative of the kind of advice hubbies tend to give. 🤣🤣🥰
I hate wearing dresses and feel so awkward. When I have had to wear a dress and I took one I "kind of liked' to a dress tailor for altering, it made me love that dress. I think I have a short body and that's why they always look so odd.

Great recap as always. The emerald ash borer has made it to Oregon.😢
Talking about the paths what people are you referring to? Do you have a lot of people on your property walking around ?
As for the webs on the lawn they're caused by sod webworms… little caterpillars
The knife edit lol😂
how about calling that area the North pasture😉😊

Yep, just kill everything so you can grow plants that obviously should not be grown in your area. Ecological nightmare.
I’m also pulling all my daylillies. So over them. On the hunt for a beauty berry or two 💜

🙋♀️Raising my hand for Aaron doing videos! 👍🏻
I would spray for black widows just to keep the population down. But that’s just me. 🌺💚🙃

I'm in long island, New York. We not only call it sod we have sod farms here!
Agree on the dress thing! But! Warning! You will have to do it for your kids’ wedding I would bet. 🥴 prepare yourself. 😂
Oh my goodness, I am a Floridian and it is referred to as sod here, and I speak english😊
Laura and her sassy self.. LOVE IT!!

Laura, loved the finger curl to the I- – -t who was trying to school you on SOD vs TURF.
What’s wrong with some of these people?
Aaron, can you plan your budget to include new shirts? It appears you only have 2 most unfortunate plaid shirts 😂
I would love to see more of Aaron with the grass work and trees. And even how he picks machinery and tools.
4:40 Parents' garden tour, parents' garden tour!!! 🙏💗

I didn't realize thay was McCall. I'm headed there for a company retreat in a couple weeks!

The espoma all season lawn fertilizer actually has biotone in it
I have a feeling Laura last wore a dress at her wedding😆♥️
