I still eat split potatoes – providing they are clean and I use them quickly. They don't know they haven't just been hit by a spade.
Hopefully there's a chance of a bit of spare ground behind the lawn mower shed you could be growing veg for yourselves an the pub next year well done really pleased for you👍

I'll be emptying a bag with one seed potato in tomorrow, as I'm now out of home-grown spuds – I had the last ones tonight for my tea, along with fresh peas and beans topped with chives, grated cheese and butter.
I seem to be able to harvest broad beans endlessly, I don't understand where they are all coming from!

I pulled my potatoes , got some nice medium sized ones in my pots. One of the seed potatoes is still in decent shape, so I replanted it again. I haven't done this before, but it's a chance thing.
