  1. I’m so happy to see Just Joey! It is the most beautiful and fragrant rose I have ever seen. My garden looks and smells always amazing because of Just Joey! I also love blue chiffon rose of Sharon. Thanks for sharing your videos. 😊

  2. I enjoy my 24 Rose of Sharons! Hummingbirds love them all! All three colors -white, pink & purple…👏🏻

  3. That jump from 13:06 to 13:07 literally looks like you went from one world to another! I can’t believe how beautiful the south garden is filling in and can’t wait to see the dirt lands transformation!

  4. Everything looks amazing! Question….why do flowering crab trees always grow suckers, and what do you do to them?

  5. I always wondered about those nasty crawley things! Especially when you were digging through the flat rocks! My only fear😩❤️ would love to get info on the chatulpas❤

  6. My house came with Double Rose of Sharon in front of the house (this year they are AMAZING! I have a wall of flowers), but the ones in back are different colors (white, purple, and pink) and are just the single flower blooms. For some reason, this past year, they have managed to seed everywhere and I have many "volunteer" plants along the opposite fence line. How are you planning to avoid that? Do you prune off the seed heads? There are so many on mine after the flowering is done, I can't get them all! I just got some of that Stump Out stuff you use and plan to cut the ones in the fence and slap that one to get rid of them…

  7. Hi Laura, you planted the roses near the cottontail yarrow and the yarrow still looks so white! You also mentioned it was a second flush of flowers. Do you have to cut it back when the first flush turns brown or does it just flush out above the original flowers that have faded and that keeps the plant looking so beautifully white? I have this plant and I never seem to get any more flowers after the original bloom. I cut it back when all blooms have browned and I never see but a few white flowers on it after I do that. Should I just let the cottontail yarrow be and I will get white blooms longer during the season? Thanks for sharing all your knowledge!

  8. Beautiful and amazing plants laura 🌺they are going to be gorgeous in your garden . Have a wonderful weekend.🌺🌻🌺

  9. Those Rose of Sharon’s are gorgeous! QUESTION: Are the future horses going to be able to get to those plants? Arborvitae, rose of Sharon, etc? Are any of these hazardous to the horses? Or is this area just for beauty outside of the pathway?

  10. I definitely hear and agree with Aaron's opinion about purple flowers being called blue! Let blue be blue and purple be purple. 😂

  11. I love that you are creating a natural habit for all of the wild life around you. I know that you had trouble with foxes trying to get to your chickens before, what about the fish in the pond?

  12. Been an avid fan since the first fairy garden planter at the town house, I will still drop all responsibility when I get a new video notification! Maybe a little bonus video one day of your clean up process once you're done planting and filming? I think everyone here would agree that we would watch you wax a school bus if you would film it an post it!

  13. I think the dirtlands could benefit from a drift or three of chitalpas. They die to the ground in zone six which is unfortunate though. In zone 7 where I am they can grow 15-20 feet if they like their spot. Small trees really. If you look for chitalpas outside of the proven winners brand you can find white ones and pink ones not just the PW purple ones. All are fragrant so far as I know.

  14. I cannot find the type clematis I have. I cut it to about 3 inches from the ground in late fall or early winter when it starts looking rough. Fresh sprouts emerge very early spring and by mid spring it has covered the lamp post with vines and big flowers. When the flowers are spent and begin to set seed, about mid June, I cut it all the way back again and by late July it is blooming and climbing again and typically looks good into late October before seed set begins again.

  15. Glad to see the Rose of Sharon planted far far away from flower beds and grassy areas – they very prolifically self seed and are very hard to weed out even when tiny. Otherwise you have to prune off every seed!

  16. I love the color combo of the El Niño and peachy roses. Last year, I planted 3 chitalpas (Arizona zone 9b). They are well over 11 feet tall and have been blooming their heads off. However, I have a nearby whiskey barrel planter that appears to have a volunteer chitalpa. Have you seen any volunteers?

  17. I would love a Catalpa shrub like you have, but can't find anything like it online. I find plenty of Catalpa trees, but zero on the shrubs. I live in zone 8a/b (not sure which now); wondering if it won't make it in this hot, humid area of the Mid-South. You have so many beautiful plants that just can't cut it in our miserable heat that only gets in the mid 70s even at night.

  18. The Rose of Sharons are going to be so very beautiful. The rose bush you dug up and clematis is so beautifully placed. Cant wait to see everything next yer. Great video. Love y'alls channel❤

  19. Periwinkle should be used more ofter instead of calling it blue. I just tell my husband it's botanical blue and he chuckles.😂

  20. "If you plant it, they will come." I, too, enjoy all the wildlife that comes, unless they eat my plants. I know you are over the moon with the progress you and Aaron have made in these last few years. My favorite channel, so many things I love about what you all are doing and sharing. Thank you.

  21. It is so amazing to see the transformation. I remember the dirt devils when you first started. Can't wait to see the transformation on your next plot of land.

  22. Oh shoot! Zone 5-9, love that color I'm in Zone 4- Minnesota is there something similar in color and size in Zone 4 ?

  23. I Love purple flowers. I like a few together or purple with yellow flowers. Sterling Silver purple roses have a beautiful sweet scent. It looks good in a vintage vase with dried beige baby’s breathe. Or along with soft yellow roses and white baby’s breath.
You’ve introduced me to so many other purple flowers.

  24. SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍‼️🤩🥰😘‼️ I LOVE LOVE L💕VE THOSE PURPLISH-BLUE FLOWERS (forgot their name?! 😆) …. and I always wondered why purple flowers were called blue as well …. thought I might be the only one, thanks Aaron !!
GOD'S CREATIONS ARE ENDLESS, HALLELUJAH 💥‼️💥

  25. I would love to see more hard landscaping in the terms of hummingbird feeders, other bird feeders, statues and landscape art. I have a feeling that is not a high priority for you or at this time. I feel this other element of gardening is what sets the feel for formal yet aesthetically pleasing country gardens. Question is, would you consider adding more hard landscaping art beside water fountains or benches? A giant sun dial perhaps.

  26. What is the indicator that your dark purple Clematis is the type that can be cut to the ground in the winter? Is it written on the nursery tag? Thanks a lot Laura, best wishes for lower temps!
