I make and freeze pesto from carrot, radish and turnip tops when I harvest them. Lasts me and my wife all year. Zero waste! 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Ivan, I take it that those carrots were the ones you purchased in small modules from the garden centre. Pleasantly surprised how well they have turned out considering how close the seedlings were and assuming you have not thinned them out.
You always have great results with your carrots grown in containers. Have you tried making pesto with carrot tops…really nice..blitz with some spinich, basil, nuts, garlic & olive oil. You can freeze it in an icecube tray for future use. Good luck with the new job….its like a busman's holiday for you lol!..keep the videos coming.

this i the carrot i want to grow. I want to grow them mainly for the carrot tops for my rabbits. If i cut the carrot tops off and leave the carrot in the pot will more tops grow on them?
