I live in the high desert of Texas. It’s hot! I decided to not have a garden this year because last year I had an invasion of rats and mice. I haven’t touched my garden, but had some volunteers of various things pop up. The one thing that came back after winter was celery and it’s still green and growing by some weird miracle. We’ve had no rain this year either. 🤠🤷🏼♀
I feel happy to see what you have shared👍👍👍👍 Very interesting, I want to watch it until the end. Thank you, best wishes to you and I hope you always have good health
We're all in the same boat, half my containers are growing but not as expected this year. What I have noticed is the lack of insects this year. Not spotted one white cabbage butterfly, the bee's have almost dissapeared and I'm happy to report no green/blackfly on anything. It's not a good omen though, hopefully next year will restore things back to normal as this is a very strange year.
Hi Ivan. It's hot and dry here in Texas. Wish you could send us some of that rain you keep having. Going out to water my celery. Mine doesn't look as big and healthy as yours but it's alive and growing still while so much of my garden has burned up.
Fingers crossed, there's a rumour that the sun is going to make an appearance from Wednesday to Friday in parts of England. 🤞🤞 This is what it looks like apparently 🌞 😂
Ivan I have never known a summer like this 9 tomatoe plants in G.house an got nothing on 4 an tiny tiny 8 in all tomatoes on others … cabbage doing ok
cheers Ivan as always
Celery to buy is terrible this year. I have three celery plants that are growing from seed I saved. My peppers are not showing any sign of fruits yet. The slugs and snails have decimated my one courgette. It was a lovely size too!
Thanks Ivan, the celery and lettuce are looking great but as you say they are thirsty plants so will love this wet weather with less sun. Keep feeding the toms and peppers as the nutrients will be getting washed away. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thanks for your kind words Ivan, lovely speaking with you today and really looking forward to the next step! Great video as always 🤗🌻
Hello Ivan. I find your channel very interesting. Is there any veg I can sow now, as I am just about to harvest my carrots and beetroot in my truggs and they will then be empty
Ivan if you leave your celery for another month or two they will get very thick, Dont over winter any they bolt very fast, Mine are 5 foot tall but iv got this years and they are ok.
Time for a new intro for your videos, Ivan, showing you pottering (intentional pun) in front of your new home, instead of your old greenhouse.
What a beautiful sight that static home must be as one comes up the road! Absolutely gorgeous.
