  1. Sunny here too except iv got scaffolding blocking it out 😔 hopefully the new roof is nearly done dogs are fed-up stuck in the house My garden’s a mess everywhere I need to do so much weeding Hopefully the sun stays for us all Your grow is looking good lovely veggies

  2. Love your no nonsense, no silly gimmick, honest videos which I now look forward to very much when they appear. You both deserve very great credit for being so positive after losing your home and facing such uncertainty. I wish you all the best with your new life and hope this channel will do well for you. The way you approach problems, deal with unexpected events and just keep learning and moving forward is really admirable. I hope the site owners realise what an asset you are to their 'community' and that other residents will follow in your footsteps to make the best of what they have and where you all live. Good luck!!

  3. Was in no mood today to do any gardening.. Sun or not. Nevertheless I did a little bit of pruning and weeding and actually spotted some french beans growing. Which I am trying first time this year. Runner beans are doing ok-ish, may have some proper cucumbers and maybe a couple of butternut squashes. Tho frankly, being up at 3 am doesn't leave much energy. And 2 of 3 cats sat on my struggling cabbage bed. 😢

  4. Yes nice & sunny today here too, I've been in the garden a good few hours but had to come in it was getting too hot lol, I was going to plant my runners from my strawberry plant but looks like waiting till tomorrow now. Lovely little harvest there Ivan all nice & fresh, can't beat it aye….

  5. i cannot believe the amazing things you have done with your caravan garden. You must be so proud of yourself. You and your wife are very strong people and you are giving people like me who cannot plant directly in the ground, knowledge of how i can still grow fruit and veg in containers. I have tried for 6 years and have failed to grow ANYTHING lol.. Apart from this year by following your video's. thankyou

  6. Hmm, cloudy here in Lancashire, with a bit of drizzle … but warm, at least!
I've just acquired an excellent Dalek-style compost bin from Freecycle and am very pleased with how tidy it looks. I'm really looking forward to this time next year – or even sooner – when there'll be a binful of wonderful compost (I hope!).

  7. Ivan, so nice to see the sun! You might want to get some hearing protection, like ear muffs, for when you are running the mowers and trimmer. They even make some with Bluetooth or radio so you can listen to something while you work.

  8. Thanks Ivan, the sun's out, salad harvested, free strawberry plants and away to give the grass a cut in the sun. What more could you want? Lovely. Take care and all the best. Stevie

  9. Last year you showed how to over winter peppers , I tried this with 8 peppers all but two survived the remaining peppers how grown well and have new peppers growing. This is despite not having the best of weather conditions this season nothing seems to have affected them no slug or anything damaging them. Do you think they would survive an other year being over wintered ? . Thanks for your reply

  10. Yes the sun is wonderful while it’s here, your containers are looking fantastic, you don’t seem to be suffering much slug damage either. What a brilliant job for you , as a maintenance man do you get to stay all year to keep an eye on things in case of damage? That would be perfect. Enjoy your lovely fresh salad, we were able to eat home grown salad last night too👍❤️

  11. Raining again here today, yesterday was glorious sun, seems one day on 4 days off this year. But things are trying, I've got one strawberry plant left lost 3 to the elements and learning curves but its given some small fruits and it's trying once more. Tomatoes are alive, one is flowering but no fruit, not much height in the last few weeks but sure look its not given up so neither will I. Congrats on the new job Ivan, been catching up on your vids today, hope your weekend is awesome!
