Who is Garden State Tortoise? 🧐

However you made it here, thank you and welcome to Garden State Tortoise. Garden State Tortoise is home to hundreds of animals from all around the world. We are a family dedicated to adventure, conservation of wildlife, and all things nature. We are a reptile rescue and breeding facility for more than ten years, offering refuge to those who need it, and working everyday to protect the beautiful world of reptiles in any way we can. Here on our YouTube channel you will be able to join us on our animal adventures while learning how to care for, protect, properly identify, feed and even breed many species of turtle, tortoise, snake and lizard. We even work with frogs and salamanders! We hope you enjoy our videos and help us share them with the world so we can continue to educate people of all ages about herpetology.

  3. I'd love to find blanding's turtle hatchlings in the wild, I've only ever seen adults, who sometimes cruise through my yard. Blanding's were always one of my favorites.

  4. I've all ways loved reptiles especially turtles. Also snakes and alligators. Snakes go fast with no legs and alligators are leftover dinasors.

  5. They are all beautiful babies. Thank you for sharing. This is informative, thank you.Snapping turtles have been showing up in the local river this summer.

  6. So what you are saying is that TMNT was accurate because you’ve got wood turtles who are as smart as 🐀 and the TNMT’s father was a rat named Splinter. “Oh yeah! It’s all coming together” -Kronk

  7. The species of turtle that egg temperature dictates bio sex is simply Mind blowing! It has to be some means of adapting to climate and population balance (?). It’s truly amazing

  8. Has a turtle ever gone on just living the monk life and not started to eat after a week. Just monk Life of enlightenment

  9. I personally get extremely excited with my 10-20 baby turtles/tortoises I hatch each year, I can’t imagine how awesome it is to hatch 100s like Chris does!!! Great Job Chris and Casey!

  10. At the risk of sounding stupid why do we need to keep the bloodlines pure? Or maybe I should ask are we concerned about losing certain genes in hybrids?

  11. Awesome Video…. Excited to get my baby easterns….. You are the only place I will get turtles/tortoises from. Great work guys!!!
