Nice work. Vids are good .
Hi Ivan, I regularly grow tall tomato plants in the 10 inch or 10ltr pots and get loads of fruits – even outside plantings without stopping their tops. Hope yours do well. Cheers.
Thanks for the update Ivan, everything is looking great. Enjoy your harvest. Thanks for sharing.
Smashing Ivan, everything is coming on leaps & bounds wow, must be the sea air lol. Yeah the weather isn't good really, hope it gets warmer soon, & be nice to see a full days sun. Thanks for the update…
Nothing beats baby spinach in a big salad. I can't plant anymore until it starts to cool off in the fall. Them it will overwinter here.
Looks great you have it spot on ,can't wait for better weather if it's going to happen it's like October at the moment not june
I don't know why but I can never get my spinach seeds to germinate, no clue what I'm doing wrong, I follow the instructions on the packet so I've given up now
Your plants are making steady progress Iven all the best Tim
Ivan your plants are looking so healthy, your spinach looks great. I didn’t realize I could pick that small, thanks.
If you have a residents committee could it be feasible to ask your site owner to invest in a greenhouse to help you set plants earlier next spring … .
That spinach looks lush
Wow its all doing brilliant.
Sweet cherry pie lvan looking good 🍒❤😁
Thanks Ivan, that's a lovely harvest of spinach, it's odd that some 'muncher' has only had a go at one leaf, strange. Everything is growing brilliantly. Take care and all the best. Stevie
got my first harvest of spinach today , going to have some lettuce tomorrow . i heard that porridge oats put around plants stops slugs , think it might go a bit yukky in the rain though .
Good lord it's all shot up, the carrots already ! Jeez and I'm still thinking about carrots since you moved 😂😂
It’s all doing so well Ivan, I’ve grown tomatoes in small pots outside for the last few years as well as three plants in a raised bed in my greenhouse , the pots have always produced well, especially moneymaker, I gave two potted tomato plants I’d grown from seed as a birthday present for friend in his eighties who doesn’t have a garden he enjoyed getting the harvest so much it’s now become a regular thing . I’m going to sow some spinach in a trough as I’ve taken the plants out of my garden as it was bolting ,at least if the weather does get hot I can move it to a shadier position. You’ve really got people interested and reminded us all it’s possible to grow anything in pots . I think the little hole in the spinach was probabley a flea beetle, I get those here in Cornwall. ❤️

Everything is looking so good in yr container garden. You are going to get a good harvest this yr. In fact better than some allotments who are having a very challenging yr. Our raised beds are doing really bad, We planted 16 toms in one & not one single flower yet on them & seem to be struggling, Our courgettes, squash & cucumbers got eaten by slugs but l saved a few back in the greenhouse to plant in containers. Not one runner bean germinated so we re sowed again last week but cant see anything, Seeds were our own saved from last yr so should have worked. Our 4 rhubarbs dotted around garden only have spindly stalks & no apples appearing on the tree. Only things doing well are all the salads etc in containers on the patio. Container growing l think is going to be the future.
