    They are a menace in a greenhouse- chewing wires, chewing their way in, damaging fruits and veggies. I’d do whatever you can to keep them out.

    I had a family of them in my hugel mound. Their SOP is to take a bite out of a strawberry, move on to next strawberry, etc. I tried have-a-heart traps and other non-lethal options, because if I’m down some strawberries, I’m not going to starve come winter.

    My chickens, however…. they don’t know diplomacy. Their response was proportional like Operation Praying Mantis was.
