It should self seed fairly easily. Mine usually do provided you have a few plants. Finches feeding on the seed heads should also help. No harm in cutting a couple of heads off once they’ve set seed, don’t know if shaking will release the seed but putting them between two sheets of paper inside a cardboard box and dropping a rock or a bang of a hammer should probably do the trick

Weird but wonderful – great for pollinators and birds can eat the seeds.
