I would really like one of your video montages of all the beautiful fall foliage plants in your garden. Ty
What kind of drink is that? Looks yummy!👀
Interesting you mention about the oak leaf ….. I have been having such a difficult time finding any oak leaf varieties.
I should go out and count how many plants I have in my garden because of you introducing them to me or telling me more about them…..👍👍👍. Thank you
Thank you for sharing that the juniper is native! I love learning about what is native to different areas 🥰🙏🏼🩵
Top ten list, my favorite videos
Loved this video! Do the birds eat the berries from the cotoneasters? They are so pretty!
I’m so thankful for videos like this! I have several that you mentioned and that’s encouraging! 🥰
Need to watch this again and write down the names! Thank you, this is exactly something I have been needing.
Love it, thank u for great advice.🌺🥀🌻🌸
Wonderful!! But can we talk about that iced coffee! Looks so refreshing! ❤
Eu no vi aqui no tem….. americano bastante flores.
I love all these you have mentioned and adds possibilities for my west Texas (Midland) landscape. I also have a Catalpa tree and the flowers that come out are beautiful. It loves water and leaves are huge. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Would the Oak Leaf Hydrangea fit into your woodland area around the pond? I don't know how you do it; you always seem to know what works and what does not. Amazing!
Yes l wonder what Laura is drinking
Hopefully that Carlotta hurricane will travel far enough northwards to bring the Pacific Northwest much needed rainfall. Here in Upstate NY, we are competing with Florida heat and humidity 😆
Hi Laura. I grew the Mr. Mustard false spiraea in my zone 6a Northside of Chicago neighborhood and if you clip off the spent blooms, Mr. Mustard will rebloom all Summer.
We have spirea hedge on 2 sides of our yard, love them!
I’m just wondering what you would say about sweet viburnum shrubs? We have planted those all around our yard for privacy but to me they seem very delicate to to much moisture the newer leaves turn yellow easily. But when they get a bit to dry they are wilted easily too. 🤷♀️
Thank you for including this information in a video. I am always looking for advice about different plants and shrubs. Another great video! ❤
I’ve asked before, but it would be useful to many of us if you could mention deer resistance when you are featuring different shrubs and plants 🙏( I know it’s not a factor for you).
Heck with the shrubs, what are you drinking 😋
Thanks for including a Juniper in your list. A list of evergreen shrubs for winter interest would be a cool video, too. Just a thought…💚
Will the Montana Moss grow in.shady area?
Thanks for this info, super helpful as I try to expand the plant pallet for our HOA
Thanks so much … I really appreciate the videos where we get a list , chat about facts and experience review. Great spend of my time! Thank you again🪴
Thank you for the update on the El Niño Chitalpa. I am in hot zone 9a North of San Francisco by a couple hours. I have asked about this plant at several specialty and chain garden centers here and only received blank stares. Maybe it's the heat however, lol! I do have 3 gorgeous seedless Desert Willows ("Bubba" and 2 Desert Divas) which the flowers smell amazing and feed bees, hummers, butterflies and at night hummingbird moths in droves. These were difficult to get. where I live and I could not get another…. I am hopeful for the El Niño Chitalpa as it won't get as huge in size the Morning Cloud Chitalpa (only species around here previously). I had been searching and searching for a something I could limb up for a small tree shrub next to my drive that would complement my mediterranean garden. I think it will complement my purple Vitex trees, Italian Cypress and dark pink Jeffers bottlebrush beautifully! I can only get the quart size of this as mail order from Proven Winners but believe it will grow fast here if I baby it with proper mulch, compost and water the first 2 seasons to get the roots well established. So excited for my new plant. Thanks for the help!
When you said the next one comes with a warning I thought you were going to say sumac 😂
Love these types of videos so I can expand my knowledge and options for what to plant in my garden!
Wonderful ideas! Thanks for sharing! Love all you do to inspire us!
Love these type videos ❤ thank you Laura 😊
Oh Laura… Your Oak leaf > WHITE > Hydrangeas @6:00 > Are so Lovely! 🤍🤍 > 'White' is a pure color which ads a soothing …. peacefulness / tranquility / serenity to the garden.
> Hydrangeas are rock stars of the shrub world, and 'White' hydrangeas have a little extra… Elegance. > A true balance of all colors.
> White…is associated with goodness, sincerity, cleanliness, innocence, purity, spirituality, beauty and grace.
> They give the garden… a sense of Calm / light up a shady area / serve as a focal point / act as a neutral contrast against other colors.
Enjoy seeing this list, I do have some of them.
Great news! I never would have thought of these!❤
Can either of those junipers be trimmed out to show off the wooden branches underneath?
If not do you know of one that you can do that to?
9:50 cotoneasters coral berry sounds nice also the Aronia snowfire I got a spot for this in my garden.
I believe the Chitalpa can get caterpillars that are used for fish bait. (At least in the deep south they do)
This was such an amazing list. None of these would do well in my zone 10 garden but okay. Still love the list
Laura try astilbe in your new stream in some shade. I have them in mine and they flourish!
Finally! I have been waiting for a plant list for a long time!!
Love this video!! Nobody has mentioned your iced coffee?? Whatcha drinking Laura?
Your top shrub choices except for the last two are native cultivars. It is great they do well in you high desert conditions
Thank you for the shrub recommendations!! What is the largest evergreen that you would use in a planter pot verses in the ground? Love all your evergreen plantings!
Thank you for this list!
Inquiring minds want to know! 😂
Laura & Aaron thank you for the July garden tour. I really appreciate your hard work out in the heat to show the progress of the plants. Your property looks so lush compared to last years early August tour. The dead spot in the cut flour garden was there (dead dry spot) last year only a lot smaller.
