  1. I too priced out a kneeling pad to have shipped to Canada. It is pricey, and I will eventually treat myself to one, and feel that’s how I justify the cost to myself 😊

  2. For the shipping issue… I know another creator that sells from their website and a very small Etsy store. They use the Etsy store for shipping to other countries, as it's much cheaper. If someone needs something in another country, they set up a special sale page for them to order through that.

  3. Wished you could have come to cultivate but you can’t be at both glad you went to aquasape now that you have a pond to care for.

  4. Laura I so identify with your choice of clothing. I prefer to stick with what is comfortable and workable to me than stepping out of MY fashion zone. I am retired now and don’t have to play in the “fashionable” scene. I love all things Garden Answer. BTW I ordered the pink kneeling pad even though I can no longer get up and down because of bad knees, but someday soon!!! 😊❤

  5. LOL….I did notice the rip in your shirt but it was no big deal { I have done it myself 🙂)…chalk it up to working really hard!!!

  6. This might be another "dreaded" chore but a bunch of us are waiting for a video of planting the espaliered tree. But it occured to me maybe you are hoping something will just 'happen' to it so it won't be in the picture any more?

  7. I got my pink kneeling pad and I love it!! It is thick and great quality! It came quickly and was packaged so well! Thank you!

  8. Hi Laura! 😊 You mentioned that someone else picks the questions you answer in your Recaps. Do you read our comments though? Otherwise, it seems you may become slightly estranged or out of touch with your viewers and dedicated subscribers? We are a very diverse group of followers with a wide range of opinions and gardening experiences. It also seems like alot of very similar questions are chosen. Thank you ❤

  9. I enjoy the recap so much as I love the conversation between you and Aaron. It's obvious that you have a very special relationship and respect for each other. The weeks videos are, again, awesome. 🤗

  10. I keep my shade cloth up on my greenhouse year round. It’s inside so I can do this. But it doesn’t cover the entire roof so there is an area for plants to get more sun. I’m in 4b Sioux Fass SD and it works wonderfully. I’d recommend trying shade cloth in your greenhouse on the from half of it and see if that helps. Love you guys!!💚💚💚

  11. MY pet peeve is paying for shipping. Have canceled many online orders because of shipping cost. However, I paid up for Garden Answer Kneeling pads. I got two of them one for outside and one for inside. The inside idea came from a subscriber. Thank you.

  12. Rose hip tea (as well as hibiscus, rooibos or other herbal blends) aren't true teas. No bitterness at all. They are actually rather tart. Just saying since you like the Lipton green tea with lemon.

  13. I always wondered how Laura looked at weddings with a lovely shoestring summer floaty dress and the garden tan. 🤭

  14. Oh Aaron, bless his heart. “Are you gunna let your hair go… fuzzy?” 😮😂

I’ve been watching all the fun on Instagram from all my faves. Looking forward to the footage you get, when it’s posted this week.

    Much love xx ❤

  15. Hi Aaron and Laura,
When I watch your videos to run drip to garden beds you make it well explained but then after visiting the big box stores for the items needed can make my brain confused. 😊
If all possible could you add on your GA store a kit that would include everything I would need? I’m sure you guys would give me all the right tools to do myself.
Thank you for all you have taught to keep my plants alive and healthy!

  16. Hi laura. I've wanted to mention this before. The Lyda rose is pronounced lie-da. If you've ever seen The Music Man, they sing a song about Lyda Rose! It's fun! Love your videos. 💕

  17. A question that I always wondered about…when it is said a plant is labeled zones 5 THRU 9, does that include zones 9A and 9B? Sometimes it is said zones 5 TO 9 so I am guessing that doesn’t.’t include zones 9A and 9 B. It seems THRU and TO are used interchangeably but in reality they are very different if you live in zone 9B like me. Thank you for your videos, your talent and your time. You are making a difference to so many people. Keep up the great work!

  18. Possible shopping solution for people in Canada that spme people might not be aware of; often, there are several shipping receiving businesses right across the border, where you dont have to pay the outrage shipping fee to cross into Canada ie. Ship Happens.

  19. It was so awesome meeting you yesterday at Aquascape! I mean, the ponds were cool, but LAURA! That was the highlight of my summer! Now I am extra recharged to get working in my space again. One tip I recently discovered and wanted to share is that you can get spray isopropyl alcohol at Dollar General (I think those are national stores) and use it to spray pruners in between plants. I carry a bottle in my "garden cart" aka the Can-Am side by side and it has lasted quite a while. Thanks again for coming to Chicago, I know you hate leaving. 💚💚💚✂️

  20. Why do you advertise your kneeling pads with beautiful topiaries on them? I ordered a large pad and it arrived only with the Garden Answer logo on one side. I absolutely love the kneeling pad (so cushy) but disappointed not as advertised.

  21. Don't apologize if dresses are not for you. A pair of black dress slacks and a crisp white blouse is classic and always appropriate!

  22. What kind of mulch is on top of the roses and in the pathways? It looks great and I would like to do that and would it work for a cut flower garden as well?

  23. Reflecting on how you would start your cut flower garden differently if you were beginning today shows a thoughtful and proactive approach. Your willingness to learn and adapt demonstrates a deep passion for gardening and a commitment to growing beautifully. The insights you share are not only valuable but also inspire others to refine their own gardening practices. Your dedication to improving and evolving in your craft is truly admirable. And I am Floating Village Life.

  24. Have you ever tossed around the idea of offering an internship/apprenticeship type job for people to work with Paul/you/Aaron? As someone who grew up with parents doing gardening but never paid attention but now at 40 am really getting into, it’s a lot of info to learn from scratch.

  25. i know a fast and efficient way of getting rid of weeds. grasshoppers. recently they arrived in my backyard. they ate everything and then left. you will notice that all your plants and trees have been eaten as well. devastating, but thorough. now, i am waiting to see what returns. looking to plant again, but this time maybe less edible types for grasshoppers.

  26. I’m with you . Wish I could drink tea but the smell and taste, just can’t do it. I thought I was alone on this.

  27. I am someone who can totally relate to your dress shopping and wearing struggle. I too spent my life in jeans! Until recently I moved from a cool home near the beach to the high desert. It has been over 100 degrees for more than 3 weeks now. I LIVE in dresses during the summer. It has taken me 60 years to get it through my head that no one really cares what you are wearing! Trust me it is a freeing feeling and so much more comfortable! Janey from dig plant water repeat has spent the last week in dresses on every video while she was at Cultivate. She looked so pretty! I know you would look great too!

  28. In reference to the soaker hose issue. I use the Premium Soaker Hose (1/2") from Gardener's Supply. They are painfully expensive. I leave them out year round. I do bury them a bit under the mulch. They work great. I can't afford a serious irrigation system. This year I have also used some sprinkler hoses. Saw them used on another podcast. I had never heard of them before and so far they work great ( I position them with the watering holes facing down to the ground) and are so much cheaper than the Gardener's Supply Premium Soaker Hose. Also, it remains to be seen if they will survive being left out during the winter. They are so much cheaper it wouldn't be the end of the world if you had to replace them every year.

  29. Love all your videos! With regard to having to ship internationally, If I were you, I would simply announce that you are stopping international shipments of the items in your store as of a certain date. I realize that people will be disappointed in other countries, but I can’t imagine it is worth it to you to continue to have that hassle. Your viewers love you and would just have to understand. Perhaps they could have a friend or relative who lives here in the U.S. order for them and then forward the product(s) on to them. Just my two cents. 😉

  30. I’m so happy I have an original “Garden Answers” kneeling pad! My husband even uses it when working on the lawnmower and has to be on his knees!

  31. I hate dresses too! Ugghhh makes me feel like a cockroach on a wedding cake! 😂😂

  32. My bottom line is I LOVE growing things. I do bring in flowers but also don't enjoy "dealing" with them after that. As far as vegetables, my main joy is growing them, if we eat them that's just a bonus.

  33. Hi Laura! I was hoping you would share some up date of how the Ginger Wine Ninebark and Double Play Candy Corn Spirea. Loved them in the spring video and was searching for them in the July video.
Love all the info and knowledge you guys share with us! Think these might be new additions to my yard this coming year! ❤

  34. I’m sure that fighting the battle with spider mites, aphids and thrips is super frustrating for you and Aaron but I so appreciate you sharing the good, bad, ugly of what is happening in your garden this year. It helps your viewers see what can happen in certain climates and garden situations along with different ways that are available to us to handle garden issues. Thank you so much.

  35. Haha 😅 I'm with you Laura! Jeans all the way!! So out of my comfort zone to shop, try on or buy a dress! 😊 Love your videos . Thank you
