  1. So happy to see you both! I have been growing the Sun Gold cherry tomatoes for a few years as well. So sweet, early harvest great tomato until my others are ready.
    Love your diligence!

  2. hi kaye and Darrall great show guys "beans i grow Scarlett emperor and Painted Lady" tomatoes grocery store what ever they are selling,,,, and i get good croppers cheap"
Tomatoes are indignant to Peru, first discovered by the
Spanish conquistadores,,,, 13th century,,,,,, a mountain species Ed thanks guys

  3. This year, for me, it has been the early heat that has affected everything. No amount of mulching or watering will keep plants going in this heat. I am starting to prep for my fall garden.

  4. Looks like there are some unwanted critters in his garden Kaye! Ladybugs🐞 and geckos 🦎eat bugs Why doesn't Darrel try a second, succession crop? ♥️

  5. Love seeing Darrell with you again. Sorry to see the beetle damage. When you grow that many beans, do you dry any? If yes, which ones do you like best as dried?

  6. Oh yes… The dreaded bindweed! Aka morning glory. My nemesis.! over 200 different variance. Those creature like spaghetti, taproots grow so deep into the soil. Every little piece of fibrous root even dead will grow back.. so invasive ! I always appreciate the bamboo oasis episodes. . You’re right Darrell it’s definitely a lifestyle 💚Great episode Kaye! I hope you all enjoyed the pasta sauce 😉

  7. Thanks Kaye for taking us on a trip to Bomboo Oasis as it's always a treat to see what Darrell's growing now. Feeding the wildlife seems to be required if you have a garden these days but those bean beetles are just crazy. To those new to gardening, seeing the damage that can happen overnight sure shatters the picture perfect gardens on Pinterest/Instagram. Time to think about a fall crop to make up for some of the summer losses. Have a blessed weekend to you both..

  8. My comment in the video that, "a little elf must have come out here and planted rattlesnake beans" is true! I am the elf. I remember now. Between poor germination and damage from deer and rabbit, I had to replant several times. The final attempt had me putting rattlesnake seed in any gap, since that type was doing the best at that time. That's why I was finding rattlesnake beans all around the circle.

  9. great video, it's always good to see you and darrell walking and looking at thing's in the garden. garden looks beautiful!!! thank you for taking us with you.

  10. Love it when Darrell's on, Kaye, remember him from your earlier videos before you moved to TN! Great video! ❤️

  11. Question, how does he get the bamboo poles situated in the ground? Dig holes and refill with dirt around the pole? If so how deep a dig? I have plenty of bamboo here and would love to utilize it

  12. Hey Ya'll! Here in Tennessee also and I am interested in buying some bamboo? Just recently moved here and wasn't planning a vegetable garden but it's very simple and small and it's doing well 😊 I love both of your garden's 🫶 great work! 👍 thank you for sharing all your expertise 😊keep growing 🌱🌿🌻tysm
