The Juliet Hybrid Cherry Tomato gets high marks for diseases resistance, production, sweetness, and it does well in humidity. This is my number 1 choice for a red grape cherry type.

  2. My supersweet 100 plant is 8'-3" tall with 7 heads. It must have 150 fruit on it. Sungolds are my favorite though.

  3. Hi Gary, I'm so excited that you're doing the tomato profile videos! I live in Maryland as well and have been following your tomato recommendations 🍅

  4. Its crazy that one half of my tomato plants are growing great and the others in another bed are blight ridden and not growing as fast…

  5. This is my first year growing an Early Girl tomato. It is the first small tomato I've found that produces well in the kind of heat we have in TX. The flavor is even better than sun gold, It also has that meaty texture.

  6. Hmm… I may have to give it a try in my Destin, Florida garden. We typically hover between 82 and 90 degrees F. Italmost never gets below 81 for a low which challenges even my Everglades tomatoes 🍅 for a months or two. Curious to see if this does any better.

  7. Hello Gary, I have been following you since 2018 and you were the reason I started gardening in the first place- your instructional videos helped me get started in growing my own transplants indoors. I started in pots on my deck and now have 10 raised beds and two inground beds in my suburban backyard. I too have been growing the Juliet tomato for the last 3 years and have experienced the same results- they produce like crazy and I have counted up to 25 tomatoes per cluster- last year in total I must have gotten around 50 lbs of tomatoes from 4 plants. My plants do not get as tall as yours but I prune them quite heavily as we have a very short growing season in Northern Canada. I used up my very last seed this year and tried to get the seeds in Canada but could not find them. Any sources for obtaining these seeds would be appreciated. Thanks for all that you do for us gardeners 🙂

  8. Started growing last year planted bought start right in to ground not soil prep no extra fertilizer. Just watered regular. Unbelievable production more than i and neighbors could use.
Thanks for all your great tips aspirin before planting, peroxide and many others this is the best graden channel online.

  9. I’m growing little orange hat tomatoes and boy are they prolific for such a tiny plant! Definitely growing some in my windows this winter.

  10. Juliet has been my favorite also for many years. I roast them and then 'flash freeze' them for winter eating. YUMMY. Great on pizza. I also let them sucker. I am in Wisconsin and I don't have a long growing season. Juliet and her suckers produce very good for my needs. Is fish emulsion considered a water soluable fertilizer? Thank you Gary.

  11. My container tomatoes (German Johnson and black cherry) are doing better than ever this year! Thank you for the pest prevention advice, it has been hot and dry enough here that I had a few spider mites. Just started treating with peppermint oil spray and my plants look fantastic. Those Juliets look really healthy

  12. Been growing for about 8 years now, agree with everything you say. I am not a fan of cherry tomatoes, they are to watery and seedy and kinda disgusting to me. Than the nice thing is when I get tired of eating all the Juliets into the sauce they go.

  13. What happened to the true cherry tomato? We haven’t found them in a greenhouse in years. We like grapes but they just aren’t the same. Grape tomatoes have thick skins but the originals don’t.

  14. We have just one Juliet tomato plant and it is the only one still standing (healthily) in our 106 degree weather. It is just a bonus that they taste great!
