In March 2024, Greenhill Energy took another step towards upcycling waste to manufacture clean hydron announcing waste-to-hydrogen project partners City of West Torrens, Solo Recourse Recovery (Solo) and Peats Soil and Garden Supplies (Peats), in collaboration with the University of Adelaide will embark on the next phase of the waste-to-hydrogen journey agreeing to work together to establish a demonstration pilot program.

[Music] Peter please introduce yourself and your business so my is Peter wtz I’m the managing director of the Pete soil group we uh are recyclables of organic material we do about 250,000 ton approximately a year uh we employ about 20 people run a flet of trucks of our own and um operations in W Dublin here at Brinkley Lon Creek um Wanga we operate also in Darwin and we’ve done a couple of projects in Middle East this is our 50th year so I’ve been talking for 50 years um and I’m also the chair of the compost industry of Australia Aura um so I’ve been doing that for probably the last 10 15 years um so I’ve been involved in the waste management association etc etc for those 50 years the vision is to be one of the best and leading uh recyclables in organic materials and turning them into highgrade value products to go back to Agriculture and farming um and I think that the opportunity is for overseas particularly Asia that they so far behind in these areas there’s plenty of opportunity for us to grow in those in those markets
