[Music] hi everyone Jamie here welcome back I am not at my garden today I am on a field trip to chica with my friend Robbie we are at the plant Barn which is one of the cutest garden centers I absolutely love it and I’m so excited to see what they have today what didn’t uh didn’t you just spend 2 days getting all of your plants in the ground okay time to go plant shopping so one of the best things about the plant Barn is this eucalyptus tree right Robbie it smells so good I mean it smells like it just smells like heaven when you walk in here and you’re like what is that oh it’s the eucalyptus it is the eucalyptus yeah I think I need to plant one of these in my garden don’t you you have room I do have room I do actually have room I mean look at the bark it’s just the coolest thing look at this trunk on the eucalyptus it’s seriously so cool it’s so cool I love it’s it’s a feature oh my gosh and look at this Pine it’s a white pine you think that’ll do good here I don’t know I don’t I don’t know much about white pine so one of the things I love about this place which is actually why I came all the way up here to Chico is the containers they have here they have the coolest containers so many look at that with a fern in it it’s actually a really good idea actually I really like this one yeah that one’s really pretty oo look at all this see even that one Robbie isn’t that beautiful it’s a really pretty shape right there I want that one I’m looking for pots to go around my new hot tub oh so yeah so we got to we got to figure that out and I have purple fountain grasses to go in the pots so I already have I already have the plants so you’re going to do purple fountain grass you just need containers for them well I think all the conus I just can’t get over it I think you need a eucalyptus oh look at that but if I get a eucalyptus I won’t let anybody cut off of it ever no they don’t let anyone cut off of it except for themselves okay here’s more of the Terra Cotta that they have I just love it it’s so pretty there’s so much to choose from so yeah if you’re ever looking for terracotta like the light stuff um what do you even call this like clay I think you call it clay yeah it’s just so pretty though the square ones are kind of cool they would be cool with the hot tub I feel like you think cuz the hot tub is square my gosh oh no wait the hot tub slots go up and down these slots go horizontal can you mix horizontal and vertical slots look at this look that already has moss on it see I want to grow this Leslie grw this in all of her Gardens it spreads everywhere but I don’t think I care I don’t care it’s so gorgeous I know and it’s not big it’s tall so Proven Winners has meteor shower of verbina that’s shorter than that like they’ve bred it to be shorter so it can fit but I kind of want the tall St I know it’s very airy I know but it does it spreads everywhere you guys just be prepared look at when are we going to make the balls I know like seriously when are we going to make the balls somebody else sent me an email and I need to find it cuz they made it look really easy yeah yeah we someone who watches us does it themselves really we need help I’m just nervous about it that’s all oh they have Verina a banerian sis okay we need to buy some um yeah uh I think this needs to come home with us yeah yeah $6.95 yeah we’ll grab a couple of those we’ll grab them at the end guess we’re taking all them there I guess we have to take all three look who’s here visiting her brother you guys are so cute she just got off work where where do you work jayen I work at a church I take care of little kids oh that’s so cute yeah we had a little camp this sweet oh my gosh that is so cute this is just too cute you guys beautiful day gorgeous is this what size you bought yours yeah actually that’s the size that I bought mine a couple years ago are you serious yeah I have a photo I’ll send you of I think like 3 years ago it was about that size yeah and it almost died the whole thing was like brown oh my gosh and now it’s huge now it’s taller than you hug it’s so pretty now do you see those Annabelle hydrangeas over there how pretty they are we can’t grow those yes we can I did a garden tour of Katie she lives like 15 minutes from me and she has Annabelle hydrangeas are they in like full shade pretty much yeah yeah pretty much oh two modern but I do like these o look at these those will look good at my house no they look good at my house they look good at my house they look good at my house 175 this would be perfect for me no Janie no literally my house they match my R Rim better no they match my house actually I only have like one style of R room they do match your uh office really nicely I think I think I’m going to go with this instead of the other one for by the hot tub mhm you’re going to go with one of these no three of these three of those no one of these and then two more of that clay color of the clay the other the light clay color just like this yeah right no yes yeah yes yeah cuz you already then it’ll tie into the office yes Excuse excuse oh oh she’s so fun to shop with soive I changed my mind I changed my mind okay now which one [Music] um I think that one I don’t know I I kind of like those ones right there which one the like the look like they’re like no you don’t like that like this one I hate that I like that one I like this one I love that one will the grass live in that no I’ll put something else in there okay so yes to that one yes to this one okay so this is where I’m at I’ve decided on this one right here let me show you how tall it is here’s my here’s my leg can you guys see that Robbie what come over here and stand next to the pot just so that you can see how big it is yeah exactly okay so here’s the one I decided on you can see for size it’s a pretty big pot and I’m like 6’5 uhhuh sure so they’re really tall totally I’m 5’9 and I’m 100 lb yeah yeah so this tall one and then I really like this short one down here and now I have to find one midsize in between that comes up to like here yeah exactly so we got to go look I really want one of these you do that’s a so that’s a Michael Glassman specialty I don’t want it in a serpent like this though what do you want I want to turn it into an arch oh yeah did you see his pictures from Paris from France so he went to the southe France for his birthday and there was this garden and it had like five Serpentine Cedar arches in a row and it was incredible that is so cool was it was really it’s kind of awkward to just be filming each other welcome to plant shopping with us so I’ve decided I’m going to commit the time to Growing biannual fox fox gloves like you’re going to starting from seed yeah and I always start the Camelot mix that BL I always start the Camelot mix and I’m going to start the apricot they’re so pretty they’re so pretty they’re so pretty and I’m going to be patient and I’m going to wait and it’s it’s going to be so rewarding when they bloom the second season well and if you start more the second season then you Jamie please don’t fall again we don’t have time for you to be back on a scooter okay oops and she’s in the Burks in the Burks in the white Burks again if you start them though and then the next year or the first year when they aren’t blooming they’re just growing if you start another mix then every single year you have them growing in sucession Let’s do let’s commit to doing it they’re so pretty I want them so badly let’s commit and yes they are poisonous um my dogs don’t eat plants your dog just digs them out of the ground no he doesn’t even do that no he just digs next to them like yeah I mean he’s it’s totally fine look at these pots these are huge those are massive but I really like them those would be great next to the hot tub right like the size of the hot tub literally you guys are so cute so cute Robbie I don’t think you have any more room for I don’t have any shade but you can take out your your snowball if I burn them plant it at your house it’s so pretty I love hydrangeas it’s so gorgeous so much so what is this I don’t even know what this is this one it says it’s like first edition but it’s a um Berry White H but then that one says white diamond but they do look different they look different this one has more of like um a lace cap and this one looks more like Lim Lighty that looks like Limelight so pretty they’re really pretty okay I think you need these in your garden cuz you have so much like beautiful gorgeous float you need like some manliness this is manly this is very like Japanese I feel you need manliness in your garden how about like white Lacy hydr manliness come on Robbie right right what’s over here he’s like oh like a little lady I don’t know flower I need to find something else to grab you want to grab a something Fairy like we’re best friends so I don’t have this plant in my best for the west garden but it should be in the best for the west garden this is a Salia Salvia grei and it is so so good for hot weather hot and dry weather it does really really well so it has these I mean it has all different colors there’s a pink one right there they come in blue they come in like like so dark purple it’s like almost black look and the bees love it oh funny they have another verbina de Laina this is Jason’s favorite plant he thinks it smells good I honestly smell nothing calling me hey oh my God what are you serious Brent really likes them oh my God and after I saw like your big drift of them aren’t they gorgeous you got to get more than one get three let me Let Me ease into it get three Let Me ease into it in a container all right it’s so pretty you’re going to love it Brent’s going to love it they grow on you hey it actually did verbina damina right okay Jason goes off about how good it smells do you smell anything anything no Brent does the same thing about plants he says this plant smells so good I’m like what are you smelling come smell this plant and let me know if you smell anything that one right there do you smell anything no yeah so my husband he goes off about how good this plant smells and he’s like he’s smelling something El thank you for playing no I had someone write a comment that said they smelled it and they thought it smelled amazing have you seen those things where like some people can smell ants yeah it’s like that yeah you can’t smell ants uh I smell ants I hate the smell of ants it smells likeon you don’t smell ants oh I didn’t know some people didn’t smell ants congratulations yeah gross okay eye opening I’m getting this anyway let me know if you smell verbina de Laina and let me know if you like nofia cuz I love niobia one of the really cool things about this Garden Center is they make Garden to-do lists which I just love I want to work on a garden to-do list for like my area so May and June plant worm seasoned veggies so successively plant annuals perennials mulch around plants to control weeds fertilize summer blooming flowers lightly trim aelas o I got to do that um I got to do that fertilized veggies I got to do that and app apply last round of fertilizers to Citrus after bloom for the season by the fan it’s really hot this is cute it’s welcome sign it is cute where am I going to put it on the chicken on the chicken coop oh my gosh je this is why we do everything together oh my we’re the same person you’re weird you’re weird going to be a a winner this insane it’s going to be a winner oh those are so pretty it’s a seed dier oh you know I have one of those and I use it all the time but not that the one I use has a measuring marks on it oh yeah so you can see how deep it is this one’s just really pretty it’s very pretty it’s very you it’s very me you know what we need to do we need to do a better job at having beautiful tools you’re telling me all of mine are rusted and not the best looking mine are terrible mine are terrible they’re so bad we have tools that like look at how nice that is oh my gosh and like the I love these handles I know it’s so like English cottage right I it’s so are doing best and something you know is is going to not do good okay here’s one of the best tools that I’ve gotten in my garden this year yeah Garden scissors you have Garden scissors do you have Garden scissors no Robbie do I need Garden scissors this is my Christmas present to you Garden scissors yeah I have the like cheap Falco ones no get Garden sciss legit ones legit Garden scissors it’ll change your life you will end up using them so much more I need to invest in good tools I just bought a like really nice uh like Hy Hy not a h hor I bought something like this but it’s a saw and it’s so nice it’s like one of these and it literally is like a little weater thing that’s sharp we’re going to be better what is this I don’t know okay which one did you go with the one that you already put back one that I put back first and then took back out and then put back that’s a good Trio I like that that’s a nice Trio I know I really like it yeah move move that one back so we can see it all like a proper Trio yeah that’s a really nice Trio I like it too okay Janie what do you have three pots three pots three three verian that I said I would never grow but I’m doing it wait why won’t you grow them because they Reed everywhere I know I agree I also said I wasn’t going to grow honeysuckle in my garden anymore and I’m gonna so you have to we all say thanks yeah it is it is what it is I’m very excited wa wait wait what just happened she has money left on her gifts money left on her gift certificate so she has to go find something she needs more plants look at her she’s in mode so off she off she goes what is she look at the hand is up that’s how you know she’s looking hard come on thing hold on pressure smoke bush there was one right behind you oh no that’s a lur pedum no stop stop stop stop stop we’re going to knock this over leave it on mine okay you guys help I think we got it I think we could do it all of us it just take us a while that’s all I still can’t believe you got a niobia me either like I don’t believe anything you say I hate fuchia I don’t believe anything I say either I hate nofia it was a a day what what else do you say you hate I don’t know but I probably don’t you probably don’t we just have to convince you that you don’t hate it and did you say me I said me depends on the day for that I know cheers all right everybody we are done we went plant
